Outfit: September overview

Hi sweeties,

Here's the complete september outfit overview! You can definitely see that the weather changed during the month, autumn kicked in big time! I miss the tropical temperatures and going barefeet wearing comfy dresses and shorts. But I'm also looking forward making all new fall fashion outfits!

So what's your favorite? I have a couple: I love the red blazer, the black dress with the mirrored vest and the blue polkadot pants... I would love to hear your opinion!

Personal: My brothers wedding

Hi dear all!

On friday the 13th of september my brother and his wife said yes to eachother. They got married at the cutest beach house I've seen, it was the perfect evening eventhough it was raining a little bit.

They met eachother years ago on friday the 13th, so that's the reason why they wanted to get married on this specific date. He and his wife already have a daughter: Nova, who is the beautiful girl in the first picture you see when you click the 'read more' words below.

I went together with my mum and boyfriend. It was a lovely evening! The ceremony was really special with beautiful music and the evening in total was just perfect. A good vibe, good food, lovely people and a beautiful couple. Hope you like the pictures :) The professional pictures were taken by Siebe Baarda Fotografie, be sure to check out his website.

Outfit: Daisy

Hi dear boys and girls,

Remember my funky floral pants? They are from Mango and I bought them during the winter sale last year. I absolutely love to add a bit of color to an outfit, and my mango pants will go with almost everything!

I already wore these pants a couple of times, you can see them combined with a striped shirt over here and with a nice grey sweater over here. And for today? Just a simple and lightweight darkblue (navy) sweater from Zara.

And you've probably already met my cute Shih Tzu puppy Daisy, right? She is actually from my mum, but I do love her a lot. We walked her and she was chasing the ducks. Lovely to see.

FLYING: Vintage in Bologna

Hi sweethearts,

I already mentioned it a thousand of times: Bologna is by far my most favorite nightstop destination! I request this nightstop all the time. Not only because of the amazing shops and food but most of all for the great weather! Besides that, every friday and saturday there is a really cool vintage flea market!

Inspired by the vintage market on the main square in Bologna, I decided enjoy the last days of summer and wear my 'new' vintage dress which I found in the thriftstore a couple of weeks ago. I really, REALLY love this dress, I'm so happy I found it for just 5 euro, so I had to wear it and I can't wait till next summer! Anyway, enough about thrifting, my day in Bologna was filled with food, food and even more food. I had a big pasta lunch and a slice of pizza as dinner. Heaven!

Outfit: It's getting colder

Hi lovelies,

Fall is here, and it's definitely noticeable: it's getting colder and the days are getting shorter. Time to bring back the skinny jeans and blazers in order to prepare for autumn.

I think this blazer is one of my favorites. It fits perfectly and is very comfortable to wear. I bought it in Bangkok during the spring and wore it just once (over here) right after I came back from holiday. The skinny jeans was a gift from Sans Online and I got my crazy Michael Jackson shoes somewhere in Bremen during the Zara sale.

I hope you are all doing fine. Lately I've been really busy with work, flying around europe like crazy. But it seems that the fall also has left it's footprints on my roster: less flights a day. That's good, so more time to blog!

Budget:Thriftstore shoplog

Hello pumpkins!

Today a fresh shoplog with stuff from the thriftstore I bought this month! I'm amazed that people throw away so many amazing things like it's nothing... But it's good that there is such thing as a thriftstore, which I visit on a weekly base.

My favorite thriftstore is Noppes Zaandam where I already found amazing things. The prices did go up unfortunately, where a dress always was 3 euro, the prices are doubled nowadays. Stupid but it's still cheaper than buying things new! Besides that, you do something which is good for the enviroment, which is always good if you ask me.

Outfit: Fancy Pants

Hi sweethearts,

Hope you are all good! I decided to cheer myself up with my blue polkadot fancy pants from Zara, which my boyfriend bought for me. Super sweet, love these pants!

I lost a little bit of weight because I was really ill last week, I vomited a lot (ewww gross, sorry!) Therefor the pants are not as tight as they were before. But I'm working on gaining an extra kilo or so. Anyway, I hope you like this simple yet fun combination!

Personal: The zoo

Hi dear all,

Over two weeks ago, when the weather was still summerish with plenty of sunshine and high temperatures, the boyfriend and I went to the local zoo. It's called Dierenpark Amersfoort and it's such a beautiful zoo, right in the middle of the forest. After our zoo experience we headed to a lake to chill out and enjoy the last summer sunshine. Conclusion: it was a good day.

Right now I'm blogging from Nice where it's raining like cats and dogs. I don't think I've ever seen this much water dropping down before. A bit scary as well if you ask me... Anyway, enough about the weather, let's do some fashion talk! I love my shorts, also wore them previously over here as well, combined with a Zara top. They are perfect for the summer. Gotta love a bit of floral, right?

Outfit: Ecco

Hi dear all,

During the Ecco Get Winterproof bloggers event, there was an amazing opportunity to shoot your outfitpictures outside with the skyline of Amsterdam as your background. That's exactly what I did, in order to show you boys and girls my outfit of the evening.

The pants are from Zara and were a gift from my boyfriend. They are classic with a small golden stripe, love them! I combined them with a white pepplum top and my DIY h&m waistcoat which I also wore here and here. My shoes are from Zara as well. I hope you like the outfit :) Let me know what you think!

FLYING: Beaulieu Sur Mer

Hi sweethearts,

Remember I told you about my nighstop in Nice? I spend the morning in Nice, but during the afternoon I took the train to Beaulieu sur mer, mainly because I wanted to see Saint Jean Cap Ferrat.

There wasn't enough time to see Cap Ferrat completely, but I definitely enjoyed my afternoon with walking around and watching the people and the beautiful houses. I love the south of France and would love to have my own french house over there. I found a magazine with beautiful french houses: way too expensive but hey, a girl can dream, right?

Outfit: Dutch countryside

Hi everyone!

I hope you are all doing fine! I'm enjoying the summer weather again to the maximum here in The Netherlands, during my days off. I hope that the good weather will last even longer, but it has been amazing so far, our dutch summer. :)

The thing is, when you fly all the time and you're away for so many days a week, you can really appreciate a little bit of dutchness every now and then. While I absolutely enjoy all my nightstops around europe, nothing beats a good day in the Netherlands spend with the ones you love.

So for today I decided to go for a loose dark blue (navy) top combined with my 'new' crochet shorts. I already did my hair and make up for work, because later today I need to fly. The necklace was a DIY project. I absolutely LOVE to DIY. So if you dear readers have some good tips for new DIY projects, please share them in the comment section below!

Event: Ecco get winterproof

Hi dear all,

Two weeks ago I attended the Ecco Get Winterproof bloggers event in the beautiful 'the view in the city center of Amsterdam.

Ecco showed their beautiful new winter collection (you can see the TV commercials right now) with amazing leather shoes. I loved the burgundy ones, too bad I didn't win them! Marloes organized the perfect evening for us bloggers: there was delicious food and drinks, beautiful shoes, a nice DIY table where you could make your own clutch and there was so much more!

I enjoyed a short facial from the girls from Dayspa Aveda Amsterdam: it was sooooo good! I loved all their natural beauty products from Aveda. Afterwards I got my make up done and made my own DIY clutch with the beautiful leather from Ecco. Besides that I enjoyed a lovely white tea from 'Mevrouw Cha' and you could 'strike a pose' with a handsome Viking, haha!

It was fun to see all the other girls, chat about fashion, shoes and pictures and enjoy a good night out in beautiful Amsterdam. I would like to thank Ecco, Marloes and Serena: it was a lot of fun, well organized and I loved the goodiebag!

Outfit: Rockin' around

Hi dear sweeties!
Today time for a new outfit! I decided to go for a simple black and white ensemble, but with a touch of 'rock'. The shoes are my favorite, I think they look like Michael Jackson shoes, they look a bit silly, but I love them! They're from Zara and I do get a lot of attention when I wear them!

This is the first time I'm wearing all 'new' items. Usually at least one of the items I wear is from the thriftstore. I've been thrifting a lot lately, do you boys and girls thrift? I already have found so many amazing items for a couple of euros! I found high street designer dresses, beautiful blazers and plenty of beautiful tops. I will make a shoplog soon! So stay tuned! :)

FLYING: Nice

Hi sweethearts,

Remember I told you life as a flight attendant is not always unicorns and rainbows? Well: I flew to Nice a couple of weeks ago and that very long day off in the south of France helped me to realise and remember how amazing my job actually is!

I haven't been to Nice in ages, the last time I was there was in the old airport hotel, during my birthday. Since then, the company moved us to another hotel in the citycenter: pretty perfect. So it was the very first time for me to see the new hotel and the new area and I absolutely love it! It's super close to all the good places and the old center!

And with 30 degrees celcius it was the perfect day to enjoy the rooftop pool. But I decided to do something different: I woke up early to climb up to the Castle Hill to enjoy the best view! Afterwards I strolled around in the old city before I took the train to the beach. More about the beach later, first my pictures of Nice!

Outfit: The cornfield

Hi there!
For today a bohemian inspired outfit, with a dress that I found in the thriftstore. It might be my favorite of all the black dresses I have. And to add a little bit of color I used my mirrored zara vest which I also wore here. I love this multicolered vest, it looks good with almost everything and it gives every outfit a special 'touch'.

For todays shoot we headed to a cornfield. The pictures turned out pretty good in my opinion. It's the first time we used the field as a background, but I think we will use it more often. It's difficult to find a good scenery for the pictures. Most of the time it's too crowded and when people are looking it makes me feel very uncomfortable. So I usually take the pictures in quiet places.

FLYING: Bordeaux

Hi dear readers,

Today is the day my brother gets married. Yeah, friday the 13th, strange date isn't it? But it's the day he met his wife-to-be years ago. So while I'm preparing for a lovely day, I'll show you pictures of Bordeaux, where I was two weeks ago.

It was a bright and sunny day, with temperatures above 30 degrees celcius. My pick up time was around 3.30PM, so I woke up early to walk around in this beautiful city. After hitting some shops I walked to the river empty-handed. I have this thing that I can't buy any clothes/accesoiries/anything else for the upcoming month and I'm still going strong :)

Anyway, I was sitting in front of this beautiful building enjoying the sun and a perrier. It was a lovely day in Bordeaux and I hope you like my pictures :)

Outfit: new jacket

Hello everyone,

I wasn't allowed to buy anything, but when I saw this jacket I had to take it home with me. The original price was 80 euro, but thanks to the sale of 50% it was just 40 euro. It was the very last piece they had, and it was in my size (xs). I was still in doubt because I do think 40 euro is also a lot of money.

So I made another round in the store while holding the jacket and thinking about it. Then a girl came up to me and told me there was a special reduction that special day, where you would recieve an extra 25% discount. So the jacket came home with me. And I'm in love.

STEWARDESS: Lauren Conrad airport outfits

If someone knows how to dress on board an airplane, it is the beautiful Lauren Conrad. The reality star, writer, website owner and designer definitely knows what to wear when flying for several hours.

I'm a huge fan of her outfits and her personality in general. She looks like such a sweetie! Anyway, she travels alot! The things we always see her wearing are skinny jeans and a comfortable loose top or sweater. Combined with flats and a big scarf it's the best thing to wear inside a cold airplane!

Are you going on holiday anytime soon? Please check out Lauren's outfits I selected especially for you for inspiration! :)

Outfit: Flower power

You may or may not already have seen this outfit in yesterdays post. However, since I really like this colorful look, I figured the outfit should have a post of it's own. So here it is! I found this beautiful see through top a while ago when I was thrifting in Zaandam. For just 2,50 euro I couldn't leave it behind.

FLYING: Lyon

Life as a flight attendant is not always like unicorns and rainbows. While being away from home and visiting beautiful places in europe sounds interesting at first, it can turn against you. Especially when you have persons at home you love and you can't see them for quite some time. My boyfriend is a pilot and we both work for the same airline. Unfortunately it is very difficult to have our days off together. Most of the time when I'm off, he's flying or the other way around.

And the situation was not different this time. But we found a solution! My boyfriend had a day over (24 hour stop) in Lyon while I had my days off at home. So why not join him on his trip as a passenger? It was a lot of fun to see him work (haha) but the best thing was to spend time with him for two precious days!

We both have been to Lyon and wanted to discover something new. While browsing tripadvisor I found a beautiful parc (it was no1 on tripadvisor!) we just had to see! And so, after a 3 course lunch at restaurant Le Bon Bourgeois we cycled to the parc to enjoy the afternoon.

Located in the 6th arrondisement of Lyon there is this beautiful park. In Parc de la Tête d'Or you will find a fantastic zoo and botanical garden named Jardin Zoologique besides the beautiful lake and many other amazing spots this Parc has to offer. The zoo is really big and has a wide variety of animals! This is all for free, so everyone can enjoy it!

Outfit: Camperduin

You've probably already seen this outfit before. It's my favorite black and white attire with my Monki high waisted ultra black skinny jeans. It's the best thing I've found in ages, I love the vintage look of it.

Anyway, during one of my rare days off, my mum and I drove to Camperduin in the north-west of The Netherlands, a place where she grew up. The beach over there is stunning and while the sun was shining we enjoyed the wind in our hairs. It's quite a drive, but it was definitely worth it!

Outfit: Distressed dungaree

Remember I told you that I won a 200 euro voucher from Stylight to spend at the online webshop Asos? Well, I found this beautiful but very distressed dungaree and I'm very pleased with it!

Because it's such a funky item, I wanted to keep the other things basic and clean. I'm wearing a classic chiffon blouse from Zara and my funny leopard loafers were a gift from Hippe Schoenen. Combined with a nice gold toned watch it's just the perfect outfit for the end of the summer.

FLYING: Gothenburg

As most of you already know, I earn my money by flying around europe as a flight attendant for a dutch airline. A couple of weeks ago I had a nightstop in Gothenburg, Sweden. We arrived early in the afternoon and had pick up time the next morning around 5AM.

Our hotel, the beautiful Gothia Towers, is located very close to the city center and just across the amusement park. There's a lot to do and to see in this beautiful city. And since the weather was beautiful this day, I took my iphone4 outside to show you the beauty of Gothenburg. Too bad I left my good camera at home, but the iphone in combination with the vsco app is a good replacement.

I definitely enjoyed the afternoon sunshine and the well maintained citycenter. Afterwards I had a lovely diner in the italian restaurant Incontro on the ground floor of the hotel. The food is extremely good and made with love! I had the veggie pizza, it was delicious!

Outfit: Silhouette

Hi dear all,

Welcome to the 'new' fashion moodboard! I updated the layout and would love to hear your opinion! Besides that, during the month august I worked really hard to make some inspiring posts! I also updated the 'About Me' section on this blog and I completely redesigned the Travel Guide. Please let me know what you think!

And for today just a simple yet classic black and white attire, with my hair and make up ready for work. I tried to add a nice twist to this simple outfit by wearing my fun old men shoes from Zara. They give the outfit a different feeling, don't you think so?

I don't often wear completely black and white, without other colors. But I must say when seeing this outfit, I think I should do it more often! It's classic and simple. And it's fun to mix patterns and fabrics when you're wearing black and white. Do you wear a lot of black/white matchy matchy outfits?
