Oldie

These pictures are from a while ago, when the landscape was still covered with snow. I wasn't sure if I wanted to share them with you, but decided to do it anyway. What do you think?

And I am sorry for the lack of posts nowadays. Work is taking up most of my time, and since I want to enjoy everything to the max, I couldn't find time to update my blog. But I'll show you pictures of my european adventures as soon as possible, so stay tuned! I just came back from Venice, which was pretty amazing!

First Anniversary

It's my pleasure to introduce to you: my boyfriend :)

And three days ago, the 22nd of february to be precise, marked our first year anniversary .

It was actually a year ago when we first met. On the 22nd of february last year, we flew together from Toulouse, via Amsterdam to Marseille, where we had a nightstop. The next day we were the only two who showed up at breakfast (or well: I already had breakfast, but wanted to keep my word and came back to see the other crewmembers, and he was the only one who was there). And so we walked around, he showed me Marseille. It was my first time over there. It was actually my first 'official' flight as a qualified cabin attendant. We had a lot of fun, talked, laughed, and on the flight back to Amsterdam he asked my phonenumber. A week after our first flight, on march the 4th, he cooked me a lovely diner. We watched a movie {Bad boys I, how romantic!} and a year later we had a lovely diner to celebrate our first anniversary :)

And a special thanks to restaurant 'Aangenaam' in Haarlem {Kleine Houtstraat 105 Haarlem, The Netherlands} where we had a lovely and delicious fair trade vegetarian dinner! I had an eggplant filled with vegetarian meat and other vegetables. It was lovely!

FLYING: Sandefjord

Blazer: Vintage, Shorts: Vintage, Shoes: HUB

I never mind when they send me to Torp-Sandefjord. It's one of my favorite destinations, and it's such a shame I don't go there very often. And unfortunately I only had the morning to spend there. So I decided to walk around, in the cold, in the snow, and it was such a blast! Sandefjord was my very first nightstop when I started to work as a cabin attendant, which also makes me love the place. Our hotel is located at a harbor, in between two 'fjords'. Every morning there is a ferry, and you see it depart around 10.30 AM. I love the food, the people, the vibe. Everything! :)

FLYING: Hamburg

Hi honeys!

Some pictures of my adventures in Hamburg last week. We came in late during the night and went out the next afternoon. So I had some time to walk around and enjoy this beautiful city. I really love the harbor area in Hamburg. And the fancy shops :) I also wanted to show you my hotelroom in Hamburg. It is my favorite hotel. The people, the food, the rooms, everything is so beautiful and good! It's in the middle of the center and unfortunately our main airline is going to fly to Hamburg this summer, so we're not going to nightstop over there anymore :( Anyway, if you have the time and the money, I would definitely advise you to visit Hamburg! It's such an amazing city!

Iceskating

Hi honeys!

Just some pictures from a week and a half ago. It has been a while ago since the ice was thick enough to go out iceskating, so it took a while before I had the feeling back. But as soon as I felt secure, it was so much fun! Unfortunately the temperatures way above 0 right now, so the ice is gone.

And what do you think of the new layout? I hope you like it! Have a good week.

I couldn't think of a title so this is it

The last days of snow which makes me kind of sad. And while writing this, the snow already dissapeared! {Big BOO! I loved the snow!} I'm home right now, after a week of 6 days flying around europe. With on the very last day, day 6, a bomb alert at schiphol airport, my homebase. Which resulted in a day of waiting, waiting and more waiting. With passengers on board. On the ground. {a.k.a. not so much fun!} Thank goodness the police arrested the person who said he had a bomb. Anyhow, I got home, moved my stuff back to my mum's house (I'm moving, yes, will tell you more later) and enjoyed my three off days. What was your week like? Had a good week?

I hope you like my outfit! See you soon!

Happy Valentine's Day

In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.

You see me wearing my fake leather pants alot these days! They are very comfortable when it's freezing outside, a perfect way to stay warm. And of course I wear a coat when I go out, but I just had to show you my outfit in our beautiful white garden. Since I don't always have internet when I'm flying, I tend to make posts for my blog in advance. For example, I took these pictures on the 3rd of february. And when you're reading this post, I'm probably already somewhere in Europe in a hotel. If you have a blog, do you also do that? Or do you post something everyday? I don't have the time, with a fulltime job. But I have instagram, so you can actually see what I'm doing that day :)

The world looks white

Finally! Remember my complaints about our winter? I think it helped, because now we finally have snow! I couldn't be more happy :) And even though the trains stopped running, the airport has to deal with huge delays and there's lots of traffic: I love snow. I'm just lucky I have my annual leave right now I think. And I don't need to travel. :) Anyway, with the white landscape it was pretty awesome to take some pictures. I hope you like them!

Outfit of the day: winter colorblocking

Just a quick outfit picture. This is what I wore underneath my coat in Amsterdam (see yesterday's post). I love the deep blue shade of the pants I'm wearing. They're definitely one of my favorite pants. It was freezing, so I also wore a blazer. In total 6 layers! And it was still really cold! Do you like my outfit?

Amsterdam

On a cold winter day about a week ago I went to Amsterdam with my mum. We went to the '9 straatjes (9 streets)' for some vintage shopping. But unfortunately without any result. We went to one of my favorite stores: episode, but I think everything is just a bit too expensive. Same story for Laura Dolls: pretty things, but not for my budget. So we just walked around, the sun was shining and we had a lovely coffee. It was still an awesome day. I hope you like the pictures, have you ever been to Amsterdam?
