Outfit: Terug van weggeweest

I guess I must say I'm 'back' from my short miniholiday. I took a couple of days off from work and worked on a 'secret' project, which you can see at the picture below. I was working on my walk in closet, and now I can say it's almost finished. I will show you guys later a couple of pictures and might add a video as well. Anyway, I also got featured at girlscene, a dutch website and you can find it by clicking here. They showed my room and the video I made and most of the girls liked it a lot. That's a good sign isn't it? And oh my gosh, 129 followers, I love you all! I think about having a giveaway soon. First need to find something special which you guys will like a lot. So now, let's move on to the outfit. Must confess that this outfit is from two days back. It was a cold, wet and grey day and with still 21 days of summer left, it didn't felt like summer at all. I bought the leatherlook pants at the zara sale. Found it for 6 euros! I'm so happy. The cardigan is also from the zara sale and was 7 euro. Perfect finds for the upcomming seasons!

See you later! xoxo

Nature's best

Finally a really relaxing day off! Today we went to the forest to walk Daisy and take some nice photographs. I love being in the nature and seeing al it's little mysteries. I do apologize for the huge amount of pictures, but I wanted to share the relaxed feeling. Do you like being in the forest? Do you live close to it? Unfortunatly I don't live really close to the forest. It's about 30 minutes by car, but we think we should do it at least once a week, just being away from the city and take some time off. You need it :)

I'm wearing:
- H&M top
- Only jeans
- River Island jacket
- H&M ballet flats
- Vintage thrifted purse

INTERIEUR: Mijn nieuwe kamer

Welcome to my new room. I still live at my mothers home. I just finished college and looking for a good fulltime job (I do work at the airport fulltime, but I don't have a good contract yet). Well, must say upfront that my room isn't really 'new' at all. Most things are gifts or thrifted, but let me show you around.

First of all I would like to show you my bed. I bought the bed secondhand for 100 euro and it's an old, completely handmade bed. As you can see it has two little heart shapes in it. I decorated it with some christmas lights, which gives the bed a romantic look during the evening.

My bedsidetable was a gift from the neighbour. It used to be old and brown, but I painted it white and it still has that old look.

My desk and closet were also a gift, they used to be white but I painted them silver, which gives them a whole different look.

When it comes to decorating, most of the things are thrifted or gifts as well. You've seen my klm poster before which I found recently at a local thriftstore. Al the little boxes where I keep my jewelry in were also thrifted. I don't think I have expensive things in my room. I have the little TV for ages now, it was a birthday present when I became 12 years old (I'm now 21 fyi). I think the ikea anabola closet was is the most expensive item in my whole room. It was 30 or 40 euros in sale I think. Beside thriftshopping I buy most of my decoration at action, which is some sort of drugstore we have in the netherlands. For the dutchies, you should really go to action, they have so many nice things :)

Spice things up with accessories

I like to spice up simple, casual outfits with cute accessories. They change your outfit and instantly will give you a whole different look! What do you think of my 'new' purse? I bought it at the local thriftstore today (yes again, I confess) for only 1,50! Isn't that an amazing price? I bought more lovely things which I'll show you guys later. I'm still really busy at work. Today is my day off, but I need to work this night/morning, so it isn't really a complete day off again. Well enough about my lovely job haha :) I'm really proud that people seem to like this blog. If you have any tips or suggestions to make it more intresting, please do not hesitate to share it! I always want to improve and want to make the blog as much fun to read as possible.

2 Thriftshopping: I think you'd already figured this would be in my list what I like the most. I spend a lot of time in the thriftstore and not only for clothing but as well for decorating my home.

3 Horseback riding: It's been a while ago, but I love horses. I still like to ride in the forest or at the beach. They're great animals.

4. Riding in my car: I'm completely obsessed with cars. This might sound a bit boy-ish and I confess, I'm such a nerd. But I love to ride and I know a lot about cars (about the types though, not about the engines etc).

5. My work: eventhough I work too much lately, I really, really love my job. I work at the customer ground handling of the big blue airline. I do the checkin and board the planes as well. I would love to become a cabin attendant as well :)

8. Going to the beach: During the summer or the winter, I love the beach. It's so relaxing.

9. Shopping: I'm a girl who loves to shop. I spend a lot of time and money shopping, but I never buy anything expensive :)

I'm wearing my new h&m divided shorts today which I bought recently in the online shop for only 9,95! Today it's the ultimate I-do-nothing-except-blogging-and-watching-tv day. It's sunday and I worked yesterday for 10,5 hours at the airport, and tonight I need to work again. That's why I'm wearing something comfortable. I hope you still like it :)

Thrifted goodies

Hi everyone!
So how was your day today? Finally I had a complete day off (usually I work or only the morning or the night, for 7 days in a row) and I went to the thriftstore AGAIN. I must say I might be addicted, but I really enjoy thriftshopping. I live close to Amsterdam and there are 3 big thriftstores around. For the dutchies among us: Het goed (in Zaandam) and Noppes (in wormerveer and zaandam). Both of them sell clothes, furniture and many, many other things. Noppes is my favorite for furniture since that once is the cheapest. I bought the lovely poster from my airline company which I already showed you a couple of days ago. Then I also bought these really cute little boxes where I keep my jewelry. They were only 0,50 euro each. And then you can see my 'new' floral dress. It's a h&m dress with the taggs still on it. Can you believe people throw away brand new dresses? I bought the lovely dress for only 8 euro and I think I can make some lovely combinations with it. I will show you later more things about thriftshopping.

Let's move on to today's outfit:

Dress - vero moda 30 euro
Cardigan - zara 30 euro
Shoes - thrifted 10 euro
Scarf - pieces 15 euro
