Na flink wat regen was het eindelijk tijd voor een dag van strak blauwe lucht en heerlijk felle zon. Langkawi, je bent ZOVEEL mooier als het zonnetje schijnt! We moesten snel ontbijten en onze spullen pakken want we vertrokken voor 1 nachtje naar een ander hotel, dit omdat ons oude hotel (courtyard langkawi) die nacht vol zat. We verbleven in 'the box chalet' waar we slechts 22 euro voor betaalden. Het was dan ook wel heel simpel maar prima voor een nachtje.
English translation
After two days where it was raining cats and dogs it was finally time for the weather to change into something way more beautiful; blue skies and lots of sunshine! And oh my, Langkawi you're so much more beautiful when the sun shines! We had to take a quick breakfast and pack our belongings because for one night we had to move to another hotel: 'the box chalet'. Since our normal hotel, 'courtyard langkawi' was completely full for this night we had to change. The box hotel is pretty cheap, only 22 euros for a night. It was simple but good.

The box chalet is gelegen in het binnenland van Langkawi midden tussen de bergen en rijstvelden; prachtig! We hadden natuurlijk voor de volle zes dagen onze scooter dus reden we ook heerlijk tussen de rijstvelden door, echt genieten! Aangezien het eindelijk mooi weer was besloten we dan ook naar het strand te gaan voor een ordinaire bruiningssessie; daar waren we helaas eerder deze vakantie nog niet aan toegekomen. We streken neer op het strand van Pantai Chenang en genoten van het prachtige weer.
The box Chalet is located in between the mountains and rice paddy's of Langkawi; really beautiful! Since we had our motorbike for the full six days we enjoyed this beautiful landscape from our ride. Since it was finally beautiful weather we drove to the beach of Pantai Chenang for a good old tanning session, which was the first time during our holiday.
In plaats van mooi bruin werden we lobster red en dus waren we de hitte en de felle zon na zo'n drie uur bakken echt meer dan zat. Dan maar weer cruisen met de scooter dus in de richting van de 'seven wells', zeven poeltjes. Het was oke maar niet bijzonder al was de rit er naartoe echt meer dan prachtig.
Instead of being nice and tanned we turned into two lobsters so after three hours in the sun we decided we should get on our motorbike again to enjoy the langscape. We drove towards the 'seven wells', which was pretty good but not very special. However the ride towards it was very, very beautiful.
Toen we naar de Seven Wells reden ontdekten wij dat je kon paardrijden op het strand, en dan wel op arabische volbloed paarden (mijn absolute favoriet!) We reden dan ook even langs en maakten een afspraak voor de volgende dag dat ik een strandrit ging maken. In de avond gingen we eten bij 'The Brasserie' welke we vonden op tripadvisor. Het was heerlijk, echt genieten! Prachtige setting zo aan het strand en het eten was fenomenaal.
When we drove towards the seven wells we discovered there was an option to go horsebackriding on the beach. There was a farm with arabian horses (which are absolutely my no 1 favorite) so we went there and made an appointment for the next day. During the evening we went to have diner at The Brasserie located at Pantai Chenang's beach. Oh My it was super delicious and so pretty! The restaurant is located at the beach so you're eating with your toes in the sand. It was truly amazing!
