Outfit: French wardrobe

Hi everyone! How are you doing? Hope you're all good! I'm so busy lately, that's also why the blog has been a little been on the side for me. But as always, it's not permanent and I'll come back soon with more updates and more cool posts! :) For now, just a quick outfit post which I wore last week, hope you like it :)

Outfit: A day at the beach

Summer has finally started, so we enjoy every sunny day to the max! A couple of days ago we headed to the beach to watch sunset and enjoy some bits and bites. It was such a relaxed and nice evening, the temperatures were perfect! I love my time off and spend it with the boyfriend. He was brave enough to swim in the -still very- cold sea, props for him!

FLYING: Lyon

I wrote a little love poem about lyon a couple of months ago, and I'm finally back! But men oh men, it was bloody hot, 38 degrees hot. Too hot to be in the hotel pool filled with kids, so I took the bike to the city center and cycled around. It's such a beautiful city, and luckily I got some company from two other crew members.

After a nice carpaccio we cycled back to the hotel and went to bed early. But our day in Lyon was very lovely! Have you every been to Lyon?

Outfit: 1001 Extensions

OMG I have long mermaid hair! And no magic trick involved, just some easy peasy clip in extensions from 1001 extensions. I ordered the 50cm brown hair after the question if I would like to try them out. The shipping was really fast and the extensions are beautiful and very easy to use. I think it looks really natural and was very lucky with the color: you couldn't see any difference.

For todays outfit: just a simple yet dreamy top which I found during thrifting for only 2 euro's. I combined it with my boyfriend shorts from h&m because of the tropical heat wave we have nowadays in The Netherlands. And an apologie for being absent the past week: it was so busy! I hope you like this post! :)

INTERIEUR: Walk in closet

For today a sneak preview of my bedroom. I organized and refurnished it a bit, and my walk in closet is also on the list to be 'pimped'. Most of you already know it, but I still live at home, with my mum. I actually have 2 bedrooms: one big one and a smaller one for my clothes. Recently I bought some new things which I would like to show you.

I bought my white bed with the little heart secondhand, I truly love it! It's super gorgeous and looks amazing in front of the turqouise wall. The picture with the text is from Action, a cheap dutch store. My desk is from Ikea and most of the other items are thrifted (the chair for example, just 5 euros, it's a design chair!) or from the 'Action'.

Outfit: Summer flowers

I shot these pictures last week, during one of the warm and sunny days here in The Netherlands. We took the car and camera to the countryside, and found some beautiful yellow flowers to use as a background for the pictures.

During my days off in the Netherlands I went thrifting and found some amazing goodies, even a designer dress! I can't wait to show them to you, I'll make a post about it later. Maybe even a video, what do you think about that?

Outfit: Picknick in the park

Oh how I love a little picknick in the park. We finally had a day off together (quite rare nowadays) and enjoyed the good weather here in the Netherlands with a picknick.

We cycled to the park in Utrecht, my boyfriend lives there and it's a very pretty city! A bit far away, but the city itself is beautiful! We had all this snacks and drinks with us and it was just a perfect afternoon. And right now I'm flying again! And yet again to Prague and Toulouse. Stay tuned for more!

P.s. it would be very amazing if you would 'like' my facebook page! Please click here for the fashion moodboard on facebook!

Outfit: Tiger necessities

If I would ever win the lottery, I think I would buy a lot of stuff at Zara and Maison Scotch. I can spend hours and hours in their stores, looking at all the pretty stuff and trying on beautiful pieces. But untill then, I am very pleased with my new SALE finds.

The tiger shirt (made from a thick cotton material) with embelishments was only 5 pounds, cheap! And the shorts (yes, it's not a skirt!) is from Mango for 15 euro. Together it's a fun combination, or at least, that's my opinion. What's yours?

FLYING: Canterbury

Our company has a new destination: Manston/Kent and with that comes a new nightstop: Canterbury! And lucky me, just a few months after the companies official first flight, I had my first flight to Manston as well!

We arrived early that day, so plenty of time to discover this cute little city! And yes: it is officially a city, the Zara, H&M, Topshop and more UK goodies makes it complete. So we strolled around for a while and saw the old ruïn, the park, the church and the cute old houses. But Canterbury has even more to offer.

Our hotel is pretty as well: a boutique hotel in an old building but completely refurnished. The bedroom was massive, clean and very cosy! I loved my bed, it was HUGE! And they have the cutest soaps as well :) I had the best time in Canterbury, and the summer temperatures helped a lot as well!

Outfit: We're only young and naive

Do you think you will ever feel 'grown up'? Like an adult? Wise enough to make solid decissions and mature enough to have the feeling that you're finally past the teenage stage? Or is the feeling of being an adult equivalent to 'boredom' and 'seen it/done it'?

Sometimes I just don't know. I'm 24 years old, I've been working since the early age of 14 but I still don't have the feeling that I'm officialy an adult. Ofcourse I'm able to make decissions (don't know if they are good ones, but still), and I can manage to run a household. I fly all over europe and have a responsible function inside an airplane, but it's still the feeling like I never grow up. My appearance doesn't help me either, I often get questions about my age and people always think I'm younger than I look.

So when will I finally be a grown up, or when does the feeling comes?

P.s. like my facebook page for more updates, pictures and personal stuff!

FLYING: Toulouse

Many times I've visited Toulouse but I still discover new and amazing places each time. Today I rented a bike (you can get your velo at so many places in town, it's a bike-heaven!) And the bike makes it so easy to discover the city!

Lucky me, I arrived around 11 o'clock in Toulouse and had the complete afternoon and evening to spend. While the other crew members went to the swimmingpool, I went to a local flea market and enjoyed all the good french things in life. It was bloody hot, 35 degrees centigrade, but the town is so lovely when the skies are blue.

After a couple of hours on the bike, I ended my afternoon at the riverside enjoying the beautiful view. I had diner at Mac Donalds: easy peasy but I love it... And went to bed early! This was by far the best day of my 5 day trip for work. I love Toulouse, and will go back next week! :)

Outfit: Insomnia

For 5 days in a row, my alarmclock zoomed at 4AM. When you see my pictures, the bags under my eyes are visible. I usually don't have them -the eyebags- but they definitely made their appearance after the third day. You see, waking up at 4AM is a recipe for insomnia and eyebags are included for free.

So I'm trying to get some extra sleep, but my body thinks something else. So this morning, when there was finally no alarmclock whatsoever, I was widely awake at 6 o'clock. Are you kidding me? Anyway, enough about my sleeping problems. Today I felt a bit bohemian bith my pink striped pants from Primark and my favorite DIY denim vest. I hope you boys and girls are all doing well. Talk to you soon!

P.s. duckface alert on the third picture, eeks! And P.P.S: please visit my FACEBOOK for more silly pictures and updates :)

FLYING: Praag

Yesterday was my fourth visit to Prague, Czech republic. The last time I showed you pictures of Prague, I almost freezed my *ss off! It was so cold, but I loved it back then! And the city is still gorgeous with temperatures above freezing point! When I was in Prague last week, it was 25 degrees centigrade, amazing blue skies and just a lovely day in general.

If you would like to see Prague during the winter, please click here for my freezing version of it. I hope you like my pictures right now, summer style! I really loved my nightstop and guess what: there's another one on my roster very soon! So stay tuned for more Pragueness!

Outfit: Haarlem

Haarlem used to be my home town for a year. But I moved back to my mum's place over a year ago. It's still a lot of fun to go back to the place where I once lived. Haarlem is so pretty, all the gorgeous little houses and the streets with all the flowers. And not to forget the cute little boutique shops and restaurants. Haarlem has it all, besides that it's really close to the airport as well!

Oh well, I'm probably not going back, but never say never. Who knows and a girl can dream, right?

FLYING: Kristiansand

There are quite a few days a year that I really don't like my job, for example when I do 4 flights a day, when passengers get angry with me or when I don't see my family/friends/boyfriend for 2 weeks. But most of the time my life as a flight attendant is pretty perfect. And last week was yet another day to add to my 'perfect' list. I arrived really early (11 o'clock in the morning) in Kristiansand, Norway.

Together with my amazing crew we walked around in the mountains for the afternoon. We got ourselves wine, crisps and other delicious food to make our day perfect. It was nice and sunny, the sky was blue most of the time and the lakes in Kristiansand are beyond amazing. So yes, on days like these, with a very good hotel as well, I really, really LOVE my job :)

P.s: you would make my day if you could like my facebook page. Please check it out for exclusive pictures and more goodies!

Outfit: Summer has arrived

Finally, it's here! Way too late but I'm just glad that it has arrived. Temperatures above 20 degrees for the whole week, totally bananas dudes! So I grabbed my brand new kimono thing I bought last week in Toulouse, France. Stradivarius to be precise, and it's already my favorite thing in my closet. Together with my beautiful and very eyecatching little shoes which I picked up in Toulouse as well, but this time in the Zara during the sale (such a chaos).

While this post will be published, I'm already again flying europe for 5 days in a row. Hopefully it will be pretty weather on my destinations as well! Let's keep the fingers crossed so I can only bring summer clothes with me. :)

Outfit: A Belgium outfit and an anniversary!

Today, it's the birthday of The Fashion Moodboard. 3 Years ago, I started my little blog, I'm so proud and can't thank all my readers enough for supporting me and all your nice comments every day. I've got lots of things to show you guys and girls, and have many plans with the fashion moodboard for the future!

During our little weekend get-to-gether in Bruges, I planned a little outfit shoot. It's always very awkward to let your pictures taken in the middle of the street of the place where you live. People are staring at you, like you are a complete freak when you take some pictures, but when in Bruges, a city filled with tourists, nobody cares about pictures.

So I handed the camera to my boyfriend who turned out to be a reaaaaally good photographer (thanks again my little cameraboy). All props for him and not only for his photography skills but most of all for his patience. Because when one travels with me, the camera will be included. I never go on any holiday/nightstop without my beloved camera(s). I hope you like the pictures! I bought the striped shorts at Asos thanks to my 200 euro voucher which I won at the stylight giveaway :)

TRAVEL: Brugge dag 3

During our last morning in beautiful and romantic Bruges, we walked around and went to the 'chocolate story', a museum about the best food in the world. It was a bit boring if I may say, but we definitely enjoyed the chocolate which was handed to us at the end of our little museum tour. We walked a little bit more, took even more pictures and bought some things at 'Dille and Kamille', a super cute store in the middle of Bruges.

Health: Summerproof bikini body!

After my weekend in Bruges and my holiday in Thailand I did not gain weight, but I would love to have a toned body for this upcomming summer! Yes I'm already slim, but I'm not toned. So here is my little summer resolutions list which I wanted to share with you.

In the picture above you see my musthaves for a good workout: the tshirt is from Abercrombie, found in a thriftstore for just 1 euro. The shorts are from H&M for 7 euros, the shoes are from Primark for 9 euro's and I got the Ipod/Iphone holder as a gift from Ipodhoes.nl. It's really comfortable to wear and it makes traking my workout really easy! Besides that, I love to listen to music during my workout, so thanks again Ipodhoes.nl!

TRAVEL: Brugge dag 2

During our second day in Bruges we went shopping right after breakfast. The hotel served the breakfast in a small basement, super cute and cosy and besides that, the breakfast was delicious!

Shopping wasn't very succesfull: I didn't find anything which made me a bit grumpy. Why on earth would a person get grumpy when you don't find anything while you weren't even searching for something in particular? Oh well, it's just me or the silly hormonal me. My boyfriend on the other hand found some nice tshirts to add to his already big tshirt collection ;-)

After a heavy lunch we headed to the 'Half Moon factory' where they make my boyfriends most favorite thing in the world: beer. Pure belgium beer, the golden stuff, you know what I mean. We strolled around for an hour and enjoyed a delicious beer afterwards. But that was not the only thing we did during that day: we went on a boat tour, strolled around in the city, took thousands of pictures and had the most delicious greek dinner at 'the olive tree'.

TRAVEL: Brugge

Last week we took my car and crossed the border in the south to Bruges, Belgium. That was a good drive and men, those were 3 awesome days! We enjoyed the 2,5 hour car ride and giggled all the way. We arrived around 5PM and were in a desperate need of food (at least, I was...). After two hours of joy and laughter, the last 30 minutes were not so fine as we couldn't find a mac donalds (original plan) and discovered the road to Bruges is a road somewhere in the middle of nowhere. No fastfoodchains whatsoever.

After a well deserved sandwich we enjoyed the lovely evening in Bruges. It's such a pretty, romantic city! The lighting that day was beautiful: blue skies and during the evening it all turned a bit red. Because of my early wake up call that same morning, we went to bed straight after the sunset.

More about Bruges soon, but here are the pictures of the first evening :)
