Ever since I saw 'the hills' for the first time, I was totally inspired by Lauren Conrad. She has such a great style and personality! On tv she looks really sweet and I hope she will be back on TV soon! I bought her book 'style' last week and I really, really love it! I would definitly recommend it to all of you! Buy buy buy!

Confessions of a shopaholic

I've watched 'confessions of a shopaholic' for the third time yesterday. I guess I regonize myself in Rebecca Bloomwood. Only I'm not that much into the expensive stuff, I just love to shop. Anyway, still not visiting rehab. I bought a new television yesterday, a huge LCD one, which I never ever thought I could afford. But hey, the old one died a couple of weeks ago, so I was forced to buy a new one. And must say, I don't regret it at all!




Do you like the splash of color? I must say, I'm pretty pleased with the whole outfit. It makes me kinda happy while the weather outside is not as cheerfull as my mood. And I've got some other exciting news to share: My room will be featured in Yes magazine (dutch magazine) next week! I'll show you pictures as soon as it's out!

HOLIDAY

Finally! I'm really enjoying my days off. Don't have much time to take proper outfitpictures unfortunatly, but this is what I wore yesterday. Quite simple. Must say I'm more into the casual, simple outfits lately. Like Lauren Conrad. Jeans, boots, blouse/button tshirt and a nice blazer. Casual.

Still counting down the days. Only two more days to go... before I have THREE AND A HALF days off! So looking forward to that! Since I work also at school nowadays I can finally wear my 'own' clothes to work. Only problem is: I do have to think about what to wear in the morning, which can take up to half an hour, so I do need to get up really early! Anyways, enough blabla, I'll show you the pictures:

Girls night out

Besides all the working, I love to hang out with friends. Last night we had dinner and went to wonders, a lovely place close to my home to have some drinks. It was such a fun night out. And as you can see, the bangs are gone. Just for a day though. What do you think? Do you like my hair without the bangs?

Four days down, six more to go. I'm still pretty exhausted, but hey, life's tough, and I make lots of money right now. So for today a indoor outfit picture. It didn't stop raining since I'm home, so I was forced to do the shoot inside.





When you work alot, I think it's important to have a place where you can chill and relax. For me the ultimate relaxation is reading magazines in bed. Or watching some DVD's on my laptop and drinking some fresh mint tea or green tea.

Besides that, someone asked me to tell something about the makeup I use. Once a week I try not to wear make up. My skin really needs a day off.

WORKING WEEKEND

I'm exhausted! And still need to work for nine(!) more days in a row. I'm so busy. I keep switching between my job at the airport and my new job at school. I love both of them, but sometimes it's a bit too much. That's the reason you haven't seen many outfitpictures lately. But stay tuned, they will be back shortly!





And remember the appointment I made with myself about the shopping-free four weeks? I already broke my own rule on the very first day. I felt horrible all day long because someone let me down bigtime. That's why I bought myself a new scent, kylie minoque showtime. And two new magazines. And new glasses, do you like them?

The seven facts
1. I have a very low alcohol tolerance and usually don't enjoy drinking.

2. Lately I don't have much time for my social life. I think I have two best friends and for me that's enough. I prefer quality over quantity.

3. I'm a shopaholic. I need to buy something, little or big, everyday. I buy to feel better and I buy to fill up my very rare days off. And I do feel stupid because of this. So for this moment, from now on (okay, from tomorrow 14-10-10), I stop buying. The only thing I allow myself to buy are food, beverages and traintickets.

4. I love italian food. Pizza, pasta's, everything. Love it. You can wake me up for a really good dish of spaghetti.

5. I love cars and airplanes, and do know quite a lot about both of them. I'm such a dork.

6. Just like everyone else, I find myself to be a tad misunderstood. Besides that, most of the time, I don't understand myself. I flip between trying to prove everyone wrong and really believing that I do not give a #$&*!

7. I have a really bad taste in music.


And I love starbucks, but that's fact 8, so it doesn't count

Close to the harbor and the north side of Amsterdam, you can find the 'NDSM werf', a great location for parties and huge fleamarkets. Once a month, usually the first weekend, there's a huge fleamarket at the NDSM werf and I always try to go. It's a great spot to find vintage and brand new things. I'm in love with the vibe this place has. We also went to the harbor and sit a while, watching boats comming by. I bought some lovely things, which you can see below. For today, just a simple and comfortable outfit.
