I'm soooo sorry I've neglected the blog! Not that my reason for being absent is a good excuse, but still... My week was stressfull, with too many hours up in the air and a stupid date, because I got dumped at the end of the evening. Totally not so very f*cking amazing.
Anyway, life goes on and so am I. Tomorrow it's the first of december, my mum's birthday! I'm thinking of taking her out to a nice tapas restaurant. Besides that, I'm working on new blog posts. Stay tuned for more great things!
Hope you are all okay. See you. xoxo
It's time for another healthy recipe which you can eat as lunch, diner or as a small extra course. I stole this recipe from a french restaurant in Nice, where I ate it as a lunch and it came with some delicious french fries. Definitely more than enough and very healthy (except for the fries ofcourse).
Ingredients
- Thin sliced carpaccio
- Black olives
- Cherry tomatoes
- Rucola
- Yellow and red peppers
- Green pesto
- Parmigiano cheese
- Olive oil
What do you need to do?
Just start with the carpaccio and spread it out on a nice plate. You add a little bit of green pesto to the carpaccio. On top of that you put the rucola and all the other ingredients. And last but not least: add some olive oil (extra vergin). Easy does it, huh? Enjoy!
Annual leave means finally time for relaxing things, like taking Daisy to the beach and enjoy the autumn sun. I've only three leave days left... But still so much I want to do! Tomorrow I'm going out clubbing with a friend and hopefully some other fun things during the weekend as well! Date was fun! The museum was great. See you guys soon!
Went to a small but cute park to shoot the outfit pictures. This small park, in the middle of the city center, has a wide variety of birds for visitors to see (and feed). They have pigeons, peacocks, a bunch of ducks and some other beautiful birds in a large cage. It's always fun to look for a new and interesting location for a photoshoot. My mum came up with this park, such a good idea! But oh my goodness, it was sooooo cold! But hey, I'm a fashion blogger so I wanted to show you my complete outfit (without a coat, brrrrr!).
And when this post will be online (I always make my posts in advance and schedule them) I'm on a date! Another hopefully fun one. We're going to the 'nemo' museum, where you learn all about science and do your own tests! How cool is that? I hope and think that it's going to be a fun day! See you guys tomorrow! :)
Found these beauties (the loafers) a week ago for just €15,- at Zara. I was searching for studded loafers for a long time, and finally found these one and at a very good price! Totally in love and shinin' like a diamond!
How are you girls and guys doing? As mentioned before, I'm on annual leave (at home...) and I'm selling a bunch of clothes on a dutch market place called 'marktplaats'. Need to clear out big time, and need the money as well! Things are going okay and I already sold a view items for a good price!
Went to the thriftstore (which is like disneyland to me) and found some amazing goodies. These items are the best finds in ages! I kind of forgot about the thriftstore when Primark opened a store in my town. But I get bored easily and found my way back to the thriftstore (noppes, zaandam). I purchaised this beautiful tailored blazer by Zara for only 7 euro's! It's still in very, very good condition. Don't forget the click here to read more button to see my other thrifted goodies! Do you people go to thriftstores every now and then?
Stains are not on the blazer and there is no color difference. This is just thanks to my wonderfull and beloved pocket camera which I need to clean a.s.a.p.!
The rainy, cloudy days make it quite difficult to shoot the outfit pictures in a colorful way. I'm on annual leave now (thank God! too many delays and cancelations last week!) and I'm not going anywhere, due to the everlasting lack of money. But I don't mind. Spending a week at home gives me the opportunity to visit some good old' friends, go out, and actually clean and organize some things in the house. Just pointing out the positive things here people, aren't you guys proud? No negative vibe! :)
And the outfit: just something comfortable to wear during this grey day. It's actually both from the summer collection, but I don't mind. Just put a pair of tights on and you're ready to go! :)
This is basically the outfit which I wore during my stay in Trondheim. Ofcourse it has been more than a week since my scandinavian adventure and yes, I also wore a coat. Which you've already seen, so I didn't bother to snap a picture of it.
Tomorrow I'm doing 4 flights and then my annual leave begins! Finally, one week without airplanes, airports, delays and other travel-related things. Just spending time at home with friends and... Blogging!
No inspiration for a title today, nor something positive to say in this post. Just some outfitpictures. Hope you guys are doing well. See you soon.
When I noticed a nightstop in Prague on my roster, I didn't immediately realised it would be very special. Yes, Prague is a new nightstop destination for our airline and for me ofcourse, but when we arrived in the luxurious hotel we were really suprised!
We actually were the 3rd crew arriving in the hotel. But since the day before we arrived was some kind of national day in Prague, they didn't had the time to celebrate it. And so, when we arrived in the hotel, we got a welcoming suprise! The hotel was very, very pleased with our airline and organized a complete reception with local foods and drinks. Even the waiters got dressed in the old local czech clothing and in dutch clothing as well. Our dutch flag waved proudly next to the czech one. We got to meet the dutch ambassador, the manager of the hotel and the manager of our airline ground handling at the airport. It was a lot of fun and such a big suprise! In my hotel room I found a beautiful book about Prague as a gift because we were the 'first' crew in the hotel.
After all the celebrations we went into town. We took a taxi all the way up to the castle/fortified building and took a lot of pictures of the amazing view during sunset. We walked down and discovered the citycenter and the old town. It was freezing, and there was snow (yes, really!). But it was beautiful and I immediately fell in love with this beautiful city. This was such an amazing first experience!
