They fit perfectly and are really comfortable to wear. Lucky me! So finally a day of. I'm pleased to say that I've passed all my flight safety tests, but the general and most important one is monday, so I still have a lot to do this weekend!

STEWARDESS: Initial

(Netherlands, 4.13PM. Having a break from studying the flight safety)

Just finished the first week of the initial course! I passed both of my tests and experienced some amazing things! I have my day off and am studying for the upcomming flight safety and service tests for next week. But this past week was absolutely amazing! I already learned so many things and I've been to the flight simulator to have an evacuation exercise.

Besides that, I also had my first observation flight! From Amsterdam to Prague I 'observed' the flight as a passenger. And for the first time in my life I've flown business class. To me it was part of my training, but I think it's absolutely worth the money! The food was delicious and the seats were very comfortable! At Prague Airport we had a three hour stop before flying back to Amsterdam. We've had a delicious dinner with the crew and they were all very friendly! I already felt 'at home' thanks to the amazing crew. And on the flight back to Amsterdam my dream came true: I was invited to sit in the cockpit! Unfortunately it was already dark outside, but it was amazing to see all the lights and to actually fly in the cockpit (ofcourse not fly myself, but to see how the crew is managing everything) was amazing! And I made a little video while approaching and landing at Amsterdam.

Tomorrow I hope to recieve the result of my English test which I made today. So if I make spelling mistakes, don't hesitate to let me know! This weekend I will have my first flight to Prague! Hope to show you some nice pictues! But first back to study!

STEWARDESS: voorbereidingen

Just a short update for today! I had to take care of the last things before I'll start my training as a cabin attendant wednesday. I picked up my uniform and suitcases and am totally ready to start! So no fancy outfit pictures unfortunately and I am afraid there won't be many outfit posts in the next couple of weeks, since I will be extremely busy! Even on my rare days off I need to learn. But I hope to show you some great european cities, since I will fly to almost everywhere in europe. I'll keep you posted!

INTERIEUR: Olivia Palermo

While browsing the internet, I love to look for interior tips. And since I'm a huge fan of Olivia Palermo (her style, not particular her behavior in the city though, but I think she's really nice in real life) I wanted to show you her old appartment in Tribeca. What do you think of it? I could definitely move in there! Love her place!

DIY skirt

Searching through a pile of old clothes I found a cute floral dress. The top part of the dress was a bit too small unfortunately. Browing through some old inspiration pictures on my computer I figured I could turn it into a skirt. I love floral skirts and this one can easily be worn in my waist with a belt. What do you think of it? I want to do more DIY projects. In a couple of weeks I'm going to transform a maxi skirt into a dress, so stay tuned!

RECEPT: Delicious pasta

So for today something completely new on my blog! I want to show you how to make my favorite dish of all times. It's really simple, it tastes very good and it's really healthy!

Follow my steps and let me know if you like it :)

You'll need:
* 1 yellow paprika
* 1 marrow
* 1 big union
* Garlic (I use alot, about 5 to 6 big pieces)
* Tagliatella (or any other pasta you prefer)
* 1 medium brocolli
* Black olives
* Tuna
* Olive oil
Photobucket
First of all you can boil some water for the pasta. Use the biggest pot you have! You can also cook the brocolli in the mean time. Chop the union, paprika and marrow in small bits. Also grind the garlic. Heat a non-stick frying pan and add some olive oil. Add the chopped onion and garlic briefly over medium heat until just translucent.
Photobucket
After 3-4 minutes, add the finely chopped paprika and marrow too. Wait then for about 3-4 minutes again for it to shrink and soften a bit.
Photobucket
Your water will probably be cooking right now, so you can add the pasta. Don't forget to stir your pasta after adding it! You don't want it to stick on the bottom of your pot! You can add some salt to the pasta if you like.
Photobucket
Start chopping the black olives into small pieces.
Photobucket
Add the peeled tomatoes,
Photobucket
and add the brocolli and black olives too. Make sure your brocolli is al dente when you add it to the mixture.
Photobucket
The last part is adding the tuna and stir thoroughly.
Photobucket
Don't forget to taste everything! That's what chefs are supposed to do!
Photobucket
Put the mixture back on the fire but make sure you turn the heat down!
Photobucket
Add some salt if you like.
Photobucket
After about 10 minutes (check the package for the suggested cooking time!) take a piece of pasta out and taste it. I prefer it to be al-dente. When it tastes good, empty the complete pot of pasta into a stainer and don't forget to shake out the excess water before your put it back into the pot.
Photobucket
It's ready to serve!
Photobucket
(optional) You can add some cheese if you want.
Photobucket
Et voila, bon appetit!
