Hoewel ik niet heel vaak meer het nachtleven in duik ben ik altijd wel voor een leuk festival te porren. Want; overdag is gewoon fijn en mooie muziekjes en biertjes bij daglicht is eigenlijk nog beter. Daarnaast ben ik niet vies van een klein verkleedpartijtje en kon ik ein-de-lijk mijn favoriete flowercrown op.
Gelukkig was Lief Festival, gevestigd op het strijkviertel in Utrecht niet heel ver fietsen van ons huis. Het weer was in de ochtend dramatisch, maar in de loop van de dag lekker droog en meer dan prima. Het leuke aan lief festival is het feit dat ze verschillende podia hebben en daarnaast ook een hoop andere leuke activiteiten. Zo kreeg ik mooie bloemetjes naast mijn oog geschminkt (lekker boho inspired), knutselde ik zelf een hoofdtooi en maakte mijn vriend nog een leuk armbandje. Daarnaast was er ook een leuke hippie markt. Het eten was voor festival begrippen ook meer dan prima. Al met al echt een superleuke dag, een van de leukste festivals waar ik ben geweest :)

While I'm not that much into the nightlifescene I do love a good festival. Because I prefer my parties to be during the daytime and drinking beers and enjoying good music with the sun on your face is like the best feeling in the world. Besides that I really like to wear something completely fun which I can't wear during a normal day out. So I could finally wear this beautiful flower crown!
Lief festival, (sweet festival) is located at the strijkviertel in Utrecht, close to our home, so we could take our bikes. While the weather was pretty aweful during the morning (raining cats and dogs) it turned out to be pretty good in the afternoon. The great thing about Lief Festival is the fact that they have several stages and besides that alot of other fun activities. They painted some pretty boho inspired flowers next to my eye and I made a nice hairband with some feathers. My boyfriend made his own bracelet and there was even a little hippie market. The food was delicious and more than fine. It really was a great day out, definitely worth the money and better than most of the festivals I've been to.

Ik zag hem en moest hem hebben, deze prachtige trenchcoat van h&m! Ik vond hem in de sale voor slechts € 17,- en sindsdien is hij mijn favoriet! Hij is heerlijk licht, mooi lang en perfect te combineren met jurkjes of in dit geval high waisted skinnyjeans. Eigenlijk is alles wat je hier ziet in de outfit van H&M behalve de top, die komt bij de Primark vandaan. Stiekem kijk ik al uit naar de herfst en haar prachtige kleuren, maar ik geniet nog volop van het mooie weer.

Ever since I saw it I had to have it; this beautiful trenchcoat from H&M. I found it during the sale for just € 17,- and it has been my ultimate favorite coat this season. It's very lightweight, long and perfect to combine with dresses or in this case a high waisted skinnyjeans. Everything you see in this outfit is from H&M except for the top, which is from Primark. I'm really looking forward to the autumn with her beautiful red and orange colors, but I enjoy the nice warm temperatures even more. Can we keep those please?

Tijd voor een nieuwe outfit! Dit keer een beetje geïnspireerd op de bohemian style, met een knipoog naar Isabel Marant. Natuurlijk in de budget variant zoals jullie mij kennen. Mijn haar begint al weer wat te groeien (weet nog steeds niet of ik het weer in een bob laat knippen) en daarom net lang genoeg om er een vlecht in de maken, om de boho style te versterken.
Ik had vorige week een interessante week; ik mocht naar een brillenmodeshow en daarbij ook een bril uitzoeken! Ik zal jullie hier snel meer over laten weten. Ook heb ik nog andere leuke events op mijn agenda staan, so stay tuned!

It's time for a new outfit of the day! This time inspired by the bohemian style and ofcourse the queen of boho Isabel Marant. Ofcourse I made it budget proof, you all know me. My hair starts to grow, but I'm still not sure wheter to cut it back into a bob or to let it be, what do you think? Anyway, nowadays it's long enough to make a nice dutch braid, to embrace the bohemian look.
Last week was a very interesting one; I went to a glasses fashionshow and recieved an amazing voucher to get my own pair of glasses. I will make a blogpost about that later. I also have some other pretty good events coming up, so stay tuned and keep an eye on the blog :)

Het is weer tijd voor een nieuwe ebay tip, deze keer een prachtige striped midi skirt. Ik heb hem al een tijdje in mijn kast hangen, maar het was eindelijk eens mooi weer en dus tijd voor een leuke outfit! Het is een fijne katoenen rok die bijna niet doorschijnt. Bij mij valt hij als midi-skirt en dus besloot ik hem te combineren met een leuke floral top van primark. De rok had ik binnen twee weken binnen en voor 6,50 is het echt een koopje!

It's time for a new ebay tip, this time a beautiful striped midi skirt . It has been unworn in my closet for a while, but since the weather finally turned into summer heat it was time to pull it out and make a cute combination. It's a nice cotton skirt which has no see through. I'm very tall, 1,77m to be exact and on my body it's more a midi skirt which I absolutely love. I thought it would be cute to combine the striped skirt with a floral top from Primark. The skirt was delivered at my home after two weeks and for 6,50 it really is a bargain!

Laat me je meenemen door de straten van Florence, Italië. Een prachtige stad, vaak overbevolkt door toeristen maar op een prachtige nazomerdag als deze viel het nog wel mee. Dankzij mijn werk als stewardess vlieg ik heel europa door en kom ik in de mooiste steden. Standaard in mijn trolley zit mijn camera, welke ik trouw meesleep naar elke nachtstop. Het was een heerlijke dag, we kwamen rond het middaguur aan en besloten eerst wat te gaan lunchen. Gezien de warmte die dag besloot ik voor een 'lichte' pasta te gaan; raw spaghetti met een heerlijke guacamole saus (vreemd maar lekker!). Na de lunch struinden we door de smalle straten, langs de grote toeristische attracties en dronken we een lekker glaasje fris in een lokaal tentje. Al met al een heerlijke dag in het prachtige Florence. Zijn jullie er wel eens geweest?

Let me take you with me during a nightstop in Florence, Italy. A beautiful city, most of the time overcrowded by tourists but on a nice late summer day it was pretty do-able. Thanks to my job as a flight attendant I am able to see the most beautiful cities in Europe. One of my main items in my carry on luggage is my camera, which I bring along during every nightstop. It was a beautiful day; we arrived around noon and had some lunch first. Since it was pretty warm that day I went for a 'raw pasta' with a delicious guacamole sauce (it sounds strange but it was damn tasty!). After lunch we wandered around in the small streets, along the main tourist sights and we had a delicious soda in a local restaurant. It was a good, good day in beautiful Florence. Have you ever been there?
