Hi! First of all my sincere apologies for my temporarely absence from the blog. I know I told to write a post once every two days but I got sick last week and couldn't do anything but sitting on the couch. Luckily I'm feeling much better right now and I'm already back to work, right now blogging from Linkoping.
Anwyway, here is the story and the photos from the very first stop of our holiday: Kuala Lumpur. While Kul was not included in our original plan we flew to this airport because the Bangkok flight was completely full. And since the KUL flight was way earlier than the Bangkok flight (early in the morning versus late at night) Pim (my boyfriend) and I were forced to hurry up bigtime.
But everything went well and 12,5 hours later we finally arrived in the early morning in Kuala Lumpur. We didn't had the time to book a hotel in advance so shortly after our arrival we sat down at the airport to book ourselves a hotel: The Swiss Inn hotel in China Town, which turned out to be the perfect hotel which was also very cheap (30 euros a night). We stayed in Kuala Lumpur for two days and you can read the entire story below!
Hallo allemaal! Sorry dat ik enige tijd geen nieuwe post heb kunnen maken. Ik ben afgelopen week ziek geweest en nu ik me weer wat beter voel ben ik alweer druk aan het rondvliegen. Op dit moment maak ik mijn post vanuit Linkoping, Zweden, alweer Midzomernacht gevierd zal worden. Ik doe niet mee want ik lig al in bed, om vier uur gaat mijn wekker om morgen door te vliegen naar Kristiansand (Noorwegen). Ik hoop dat jullie mijn outfit leuk vinden, ik ben nog steeds erg gek op mijn Mochila bag :) Ik kom snel terug met meer posts, beloofd!

Hi everyone! I'm so sorry for not making any new posts in a while. Last week I was sick and now that I'm feeling better I'm out flying. At this moment I'm blogging from Linkoping, Sweden, where they celebrate 'Midsummernight' today. Unfortunately I can't join the festivities because I'm already in bed. My alarmclock is set for 4AM (ouch!) because I'm flying to Kristiansand (Norway) tomorrow. I hope you like my outfit, I still love my mochila bag. Be back soon with more posts, pinkypromise!
Als ik zo door mijn kledingkast struin kom ik behoorlijk wat playsuits tegen; misschien een kleine verslaving. Dit exemplaar vond ik aan het begin van de lente bij Primark voor slechts 11 euro, koopje! Hij hing eigenlijk nog ongedragen in mijn kast tot het dan eindelijk mooi weer was. Want tsja, met een panty eronder lijkt het helemaal zo zwart-wit, vond ik niet mooi.
De meeste van mijn items uit mijn kast komen bij de kringloop vandaan, aangevuld met H&M, mango, zara en natuurlijk Primark! Zoals ik eigenlijk altijd bij de kringloop goed kan slagen, lukt me dat ook altijd wel bij Primark. Zaandam is mijn grote favoriet, niet alleen ligt de winkel op fietsafstand maar tevens is het ook op doordeweekse dragen niet belachelijk druk zoals bijvoorbeeld Rotterdam. Maar het liefst shop ik toch in Engeland, moet nodig weer eens een leuk vliegtripje naar Bristol of Cardif aanvragen! :)

When I'm browsing through the piles and piles of clothes in my closet I do find a lot of playsuits, it might be a small addiction that I have created. This playsuit is from the Primark spring collection 2014 and was just 11 euro, cheap! It was in my closet all this time, unworn, waiting for the sun to heat up this northern part of the globe. I didn't want to combine it with black thights because that is too much black and white.
Most of the clothes I own are from the thriftstore and the rest is from H&M, mango, zara and ofcourse primark! As with the thriftstore where I just can't leave without buying something, Primark has the same: I always find something cute. Zaandam is my favorite since I can cycle to this store and it's not too busy during the weekdays. But I prefer shopping in the UK, I really need to request a nice little nightstop in Bristol or Cardif!
Persoonlijk is dit een van mijn favoriete kleding combinaties, deze prachtige rok en top van h&m met een ketting van House of Lou (welke je ook nog kan winnen!) en sandaaltjes van Primark. Romantisch, zacht en zomers! Daarom heb ik mijn haar ook weer op een chique manier in een haarband proberen te proppen (tutorial komt eraan!). Wat vinden jullie van deze zomerse look?

To me, this is one of my favorite outfit combinations, this beautiful skirt and cropped top from H&M combined with a necklace from House of Lou (which you can win, I'm hosting a giveaway) and cute sandals from Primark. It's romantic, soft and perfect for the summer. That's also why you see again this hairstyle with my hair tucked inside a hairband. I'm making a tutorial a.s.a.p. Anyway, what do you think of this look?
Hoewel ik het liefst een rechtsomkeert maak terug richting Maleisië of zuid oost Azië in het algemeen moet ik toegeven dat deze temperaturen in Nederland toch ook wel heel erg heerlijk zijn. Helaas heb ik er nog niet echt van mogen genieten; zoals jullie misschien al weten werk ik als stewardess en mocht ik direct na mijn vakantie reserve staan. Op de eerste dag lieten ze me nog met rust, maar op de tweede dag ging mijn telefoon; overige 4 dagen gewoon werken.
En zo kon ik nog even wat inkopen doen in Nuremberg (fijne stad!) en ik moet over twee uurtjes weer richting schiphol om naar Hannover te vliegen. Kort stopje maar, morgen weer vroeg terug en dan weer naar mijn vriend toe. Soms best een beetje gek, we zijn op vakantie 23 dagen non stop samen geweest en nu slaap ik weer alleen en vlieg ik heel europa door. Achja, that's life.

While I love to make a right turn and fly back to Malaysia or south east Asia in general I must admit that these lovely temperatures in the Netherlands are not too bad at all. Unfortunately I didn't have any time to really enjoy it. As you might know I'm a flight attendant and just a day after I came back from holiday my reserve duty started. They called me out the second day and I have to work for the rest of the 4 days which were left.
So I went to Nuremberg and did some shopping at the DM (love Nuremberg!) and in two hours I'm going to the airport again for a short nightstop in Hannover. Tomorrow morning I'm going back and will directly go to my boyfriend. Sometimes it's a bit funny, we've been together for 23 days in a row, non stop, and now I'm all alone flying through europe. Oh well, that's life.
