Vanuit het Primark event in Nijmegen op 31 maart ben ik direct door gegaan naar Amsterdam voor een hele speciale samenwerking van Specsavers met het scandinavische merk Cheap Monday. Op die dag werd de nieuwe eyewear collectie aan ons getoond door middel van een stylerun. En wat was het weer ontzettend leuk!
We spraken af bij Boca's in de Amsterdamse Jordaan waar we te horen kregen dat Specsavers samen met Cheap Monday een heeeeule mooie collectie brillen heeft uitgebracht. Vervolgens werden we opgedeeld in 3 teams van elk 3 bloggers. Ik was gezellig samen met Linsey van Pose Blog en met Sofie van Chicks about Fashion. Onze eerste opdracht was het 'ontwerpen' van een bril. We gingen met verf en pennen aan de slag en kwamen toen op ons thema: we besloten Cheap Monday uit te beelden als 'expensive monday'.

From the Primark event in Nijmegen on the 31st of March I went back to Amsterdam for a very special collaboration from Specsavers with the scandinavian brand Cheap Monday. During that day they presented the new eyewear collection and we had to do a stylerun! It was alot of fun!
We met at Boca's in Amsterdam where we discovered that Specsavers developed a complete eyewear collection with Cheap Monday. They divided us into three teams of each three bloggers. Together with Linsey from Pose Blog and Sofie from Chicks About Fashion we were crowned as 'team A' (from Awesome ofcourse!). Our first challenge was to 'design' a pair of HUGE glasses. We used paint and pencils and while working on the glasses we came up with a very special theme for our team: we decided to change CHEAP monday into EXPENSIVE monday :)

Soms stap ik wel eens af van al mijn liefde voor printjes en houd ik het graag simpel. Ik ben gek op deze boyfriend jeans van Primark, vooral omdat ze zo ontzettend fijn zitten. Om het niet al te slouchy te maken draag ik een bohemian style blouse welke ik afgelopen winter in de sale bij H&M vond.
Maar elke outfit heeft wel iets van kleur nodig, daarom mijn rode -nep- converse allstars en een rode blazer van forever21 welke ik vorig jaar uit Bangkok mee nam. En jeetje, nog 5 dagen en ik word alweer 25... Counting the days. Time flies when you're having fun, right?

Every now and then my love for prints fade a bit and I turn to keeping things simple. I love my boyfriend jeans from Primark, especially because they are way too comfortable! But since boyfriend jeans quickly can look a bit sloppy, I combined it with a bohemian style blouse which I found last winter in H&M sales section.
And every outfit needs a little bit of color, therefor I'm wearing my red -fake- converse allstars and a bright red blazer from Forever21 which I bought last year in Bangkok. And my gosh, time flies when you're having fun, I'm turning 25 in 5 days... Counting the days!

Op 31 maart was ik uitgenodigd om aanwezig te zijn bij de Specsavers Stylerun! Specsavers is namelijk een samenwerking aangegaan met Cheapmonday, welke prachtige brillen heeft ontworpen. Er waren drie teams waarin elk drie bloggers zaten en we moesten dan ook drie stijling opdrachten uitvoeren welke met Cheap Monday te maken hadden.
We wonnen niet alleen de opdracht voor het best gestylde haar, maar mijn team won ook nog eens de hoofdprijs van 500 euro per persoon aan kleding van Cheap Monday! Dit was echt mijn geluksdag! Kan niet wachten tot mijn prachtige nieuwe items binnen zijn! Dit is in ieder geval de outfit welke ik die dag droeg. Mijn gestreepte skinnyjeans is van h&m en ik vond ze laatst op de sale afdeling in Toulouse. Daarnaast heb ik een top van de kringloopwinkel en een denim jasje van Primark :) Grote dank nog aan Wendy van FabulousstyleWS voor het maken van de foto's :)

At the 31st of march I was invited to the Specsavers Stylerun! Specsavers started a collaboration with the fashion brand cheap Monday, and they designed some beautiful glasses and sunnies. There were three teams of three bloggers and we had to do three styling contests which all had to do with Cheap Monday.
We won the contest for best styled hair but we also won the big price of 500 euro per person to shop at Cheap Monday! This really was my lucky day :) I can't wait to show you my new items! Anyway, this was my outfit during that day. I'm wearing a black and white striped skinnyjeans from H&M which I found at the sale department in Toulouse. The top is from the thriftstore and the denim jacket is from Primark :) Huge thanks to Wendy from FabulousstyleWS to shoot these pictures!

Ik word altijd helemaal verliefd als ik polkadots zie. Wanneer ik ze 'spot', moet het items met mij mee naar huis :) Deze dotted top was een cadeautje van Persunmall en ik ben er echt helemaal verliefd op. Vinden jullie de peter pan collar ook niet schattig? En wat vinden jullie van mijn nieuwe cutout boots?
Ik ben op dit moment weer druk aan het vliegen, de tijd vliegt letterlijk en figuurlijk! Heel europa door, veel nachtstops en dat maakt het bloggen soms wat lastig. Maar ik doe mijn best en neem altijd mijn mini laptopje mee, zodat ik in ieder geval iets kan doen. Al is het internet in mijn hotels vaak toch te traag om echt goed te kunnen bloggen. Achja. Ik heb daarentegen wel heerlijke nachtstops en over twee weken, wanneer ik jarig ben (ik word 25, eeek!), neem ik mijn moeder mee naar Trondheim :)

I kind of always fall in love with polkadots. When I see it, it needs to come home with me. This dotted top was a gift from Persunmall. Don't you just love the peter pan collar? And what do you think of my new cutout boots?
At this moment I'm out and about flying. Time flies, literally. I'm going all the way through Europe, lots of layovers and that makes blogging a bit hard. I'm trying and always bring my mini laptop with me, so I can do at least a little bit of work whilst staying in the hotel. But usually the internet is not good enough to do proper blogging. Oh well. At least I have amazing layovers and in two weeks, when it's my birthday (I'm turning 25, eeeek!), I'm taking my mum with me to Trondheim :)

Ik ben zo blij met het heerlijke weer, eindelijk weer eens fatsoenlijk de kans om goede outfit foto's te maken! En dat heerlijke weer zorgt er ook voor dat ik mijn favoriete kleur weer eens kan dragen :)
Vandaag draag ik een floral bustier top welke ik heb gekregen van Choies, het hebben van een fashionblog heeft veel voordelen zoals je ziet ;) Ik ben er heel blij mee: het is een fijne top, zit goed en is perfect om te combineren met high waisted skinnyjeans. Daarnaast draag ik ook een leuke roze boyfriend blazer welke ik laatst heb gekocht in de kringloopwinkel. Heerlijk goedkoop, slechts 4 euro! Als ik dan ook nog eens verklap dat de broek (10 euro) en schoentjes (3 euro) van de primark komen, dan kan je begrijpen dat dit een uber budget outfit is :)

I'm super pleased with the beautiful spring weather, finally time to shoot some good outfit photo's! And the rising temperatures is a good reason to pull out some pink items from the closet, my favorite color :)
Today I'm wearing a floral bustier top which was a gift from Choies, having a fashion blog gives me lovely opportunities to review great stuff. I'm very happy with this top: it fits perfectly and is easy to wear with a high waisted skinnyjeans. Besides that I'm wearing a pink boyfriend blazer which I bought in the thriftstore. It was really cheap: just 4 euro! And if I also tell you that my skinnyjeans (10 euro) and shoes (3 euro) are from Primark, you can understand that this is a true budget outfit :)
