De voordelen van het hebben van een fashionblog? Naast al jullie super lieve berichtjes is het zo nu en dan krijgen van leuke items toch ook wel een heel fijn voordeel. Zo kreeg ik vorige week deze lila sweater van Choies om te reviewen.
Om het dan toch maar meteen over die lila trui te hebben: ik ben er verliefd op! De kwaliteit is goed en ik vind het kleurtje echt zo schattig, perfect voor deze zomer. De trui is niet heel dik, maar dik genoeg voor de temperatuur van nu. Ik heb hem gecombineerd met een high waisted skinnyjeans van Topshop en zomerse schoentjes van Primark.
Ik ben op dit moment weer aan het vliegen! Dit maal richting Linköping (Zweden), Lyon (Frankrijk) en Trondheim (Noorwegen). Helaas heb ik in Linköping niet heel veel tijd, maar in de rest van de bestemmingen wel. Ik ga lekker fietsen in Lyon en hoop op goed weer. In Trondheim wil ik gaan sporten, ze hebben daar echt de meest fantastische gym met uitzicht op de fjorden!

The pro's of having a fashionblog? Besides all your lovely comments I recieve some free stuff every now and then. Last week the postman gave me this beautiful lila sweater from Choies to review.
About the sweater: it's pretty perfect, I am in love! The quality is good and I really love the color, it's perfect for the summer. The sweater itself is not very thick, but perfect for the temperatures we have nowadays. I combined it with my high waisted skinnjeans from Topshop and summery shoes from Primark.
At this moment I'm out flying again. This time to Linköping (Sweden), Lyon (France) and Trondheim (Norway). Unfortunaly I don't have a lot of time in Linköping, but I do have some time to spend at the rest of the destinations. I want to go cycling in Lyon and am hoping for beautiful weather. In Norway I'm going to the gym. The gym over there is absolutely amazing with a stunning view!

Daar ben ik weer met een super lente-achtige outfit! Zoals jullie al wel hebben gemerkt ben ik dol op printjes (floral voornamelijk) en kleur, daarom is dit weer een typische 'Shalane' combinatie.
Ik vond de Kimono enkele weken geleden bij de topshop in het sale rek hangen voor slechts 13 euro, moest met mij mee! De shorts heb ik zelf afgeknipt en zijn van Levi's het model 501 wat ik in de kringloopwinkel vond. Het leek me leuk om een zacht pastel kleurige top hierbij de dragen en daarom is deze van Kenzaa dan ook perfect. :)
Hoe gaat het verder met jullie? Ik heb de afgelopen tijd heerlijke stopjes gehad (ik werk als stewardess) in Frankrijk en Italië. Eindelijk een beetje zon kunnen pakken en de sproetjes komen langzaam terug op mijn gezicht. Heerlijk zijn de avonden dat mensen buiten zitten en genieten van het mooie weer, er gaat niets boven dat zomerse gevoel!

It's me again, with my super duper spring-i outfit! As you may have noticed I kind of really love prints (floral) and colors, that's why this is a very typical 'Shalane' outfit.
I found the kimono just a few weeks ago at Topshop in the sale section, it was just 13 euros so it had to come home with me! The shorts are a little bit DIY'ed and are Levi's 501, which I found in the thriftstore last month. I thought it would be nice to wear a soft pastel top and therefor this one from Kenzaa is close to perfection :)
And how are you doing? The past couple of days I have really enjoyed some amazing layovers (I'm a flightattendant) in France and Italy. Finally a little bit of sunshine and my freckles are slowely showing op on my face. I love the evenings with lots of people out and about on the streets who enjoy the amazing weather. Nothing can beat that summer feeling!

Twee weken geleden waren mijn vriend en ik er weer eens op uit, dit keer naar Slot Zeist. Het was er echt super mooi, er stonden al veel bloemetjes en het weer was echt prachtig! We hebben lekker gewandeld en genoten van het heerlijke lenteweer.
Ik draag mijn nieuwe jasje van Pimkie wat ik drie maanden geleden in Toulouse in de uitverkoop vond. Het was afgeprijsd van 50 euro naar 12 euro, echt super goedkoop! Het heeft een aztec printje en zachte zomerse kleurtjes. Hij is dan wel van vorig jaar, maar dit jaar zal hij zeker nog vaak op mijn blog verschijnen :)

Two weeks ago my boyfriend and I were out and about, this time to Slot Zeist. The weather was pretty amazing, there were already many flowers and the whole scenery was pretty amazing. We walked around and really enjoyed the amazing spring sunshine.
I'm wearing my new jacket from Pimkie which I bought 3 months ago in Toulouse during the sale. It was originally 50 euros and was not just 12 euros! Super duper cheap! It has an aztec print and soft summer colors. It might be from last year, but that doesn't matter to me, so I would love to wear it this upcoming summer! :)

Vandaag een super gekleurde outfit, want wat een prachtig weer is het! Vorige week, toen ik deze outfit foto's maakte, was de temperatuur 18 graden, heerlijk! Eindelijk een beetje lente, haha! Ik vond het schattige spijkerjasje laatst in Bristol, engeland waar ik was vanwege mijn werk (ik ben stewardess). Ik heb daar echt heerlijk geshopt en zal binnenkort een leuke shoplog op video voor jullie maken. Vinden jullie dat eigenlijk leuk, video's? Laat het me weten :)

Today a super colorful outfit, because the weather is beyond amazing! Last week, when shooting this outfit, the temperature was above 18 degrees celcius, it's amazing! Finally spring has sprung, haha! I found this cute denim jacket in Bristol, England where I was last week thanks to my work (I'm a flight attendant). Mijn lieve vriendje en ik zijn er weer eens op uitgeweest. In de omgeving van Utrecht heb je het park/landhuis Amelisweerd waar je heerlijk kan wandelen, picknicken en relaxen. Ze hebben er zelfs een biologische tuin waar je fruit en groente kan kopen!
We zijn al vaker in Amelisweerd geweest, ook in de zomer is het er echt prachtig! Normaal gaan we dan ook altijd fietsen, dus dat gaan we in de zomer dan ook weer volop doen, kan niet wachten :)

My dear boyfriend and I went out and about. In the area of Utrecht is a huge park/house called Amelisweerd where you can walk, wander, picknick and relax. They even have a biological garden where you can buy fruit and veggies!
We have been to Amelisweerd quite alot, even in summertime it's beautiful! Usually we go by bike, so that's the plan for the upcoming summer as well, I can't wait!
