Het wordt eindelijk mooi en zonnig weer in Nederland, heerlijk! Toen het weer vorige week wat minder was in Nederland, had ik het geluk om te vliegen naar Nice (ik werk als stewardess) en vanuit daar heb ik met de crew de trein gepakt naar het prachtige Monaco!
De treinreis duurde slechts 10 tot 15 minuten maar je stapt direct uit in een andere wereld. Prachtige, giga dure boten, mooie appartementen en een gaaf casino: Monaco heeft het allemaal. Het is werkelijk waar lifestyle of the rich and famous, een sprookjeswereld op zich! Bijna alles lijkt te mooi om waar te zijn en vooral heel erg onwerkelijk. Ik zou nooit zoiets kunnen -en willen- betalen. Maar het blijft uiteraard leuk om naar te kijken ;)
We liepen door de bekende formule 1 tunnel, langs de dure boten en we bekeken het casino (van james bond) van dichtbij. Daarnaast zijn we ook nog even naar boven richting het kasteel gelopen om daar te genieten van het prachtige uitzicht. Gotta love the south of france!

Spring has sprung in the Netherlands, love it! But last week, when the skies were grey in the lower lands of Holland, I was lucky enough to have a layover in Nice (I work as a flight attendant). And from there I took the train to the beautiful and surreal Monaco!
It was just a 10 to 15 minute trainride, but as soon as you disembark you're in a completely different world. Beautiful, extremely expensive boats, amazing apartments and a really cool casino: Monaco has it all. It really is the lifestyle of the rich and famous, a fairytale world itself. Too good to be true and especially very surreal and unrealistic. I could and would never afford anything you can find there. But it is a lot of fun to see though!
We walked through the famous 'formula 1' tunnel, along the expensive boats and we absolutely loved the famous casino (from the James bond movie). Besides that we walked up to the castle to enjoy the magnificent view. Gotta love the south of France!

Ik ben weer blond! Het heeft me drie dagen, zes pakjes verf en een hoop stress gekost om het weer blond te krijgen. Maar ik ben er wel heel erg blij mee.
Over de jaren heen heb ik al vele malen mijn haar geverfd. Alle kleuren heeft het al gehad, maar vooral veel blond en bruin. Maar het laatste anderhalf jaar was ik redelijk stabiel met mijn bruine haar; ik was er erg blij mee en vond dat het me goed stond. Maar:... ik word grijs! *aaaah* Ja, echt! Dat dacht ik dus zelf ook. En met bruin haar valt het veel meer op, dus ben ik verplicht het elke 4 weken te verven. En dat was ik behoorlijk zat! Dus ja, ik ben weer blond! Haha :-)
Even terug naar mijn outfit: ik draag mijn favoriete high waisted skinny jeans van topshop gecombineerd met een witte cropped sweater. I kan echt niet wachten tot de lente komt en ik al die mooie pastel kleurtjes aan kan! En in minder dan 2,5 maand ga ik met mijn lieve vriendje naar Laos en Cambodia, kan niet wachten

I'm back to blonde! It took me three days, six packages of hairdye and a lot of stress te become blonde again. But I'm very pleased with it!
Over the past few years I have dyed my hair many times. It has been all the colors of the rainbow, but especially blonde and brown. But the last year and a half I have been a brunette; I was very pleased with it and thought it looked good on me (I'm a natural dark blonde though). But: I'm becomming grey! *aaaaah* seriously! And when you're a brunette, the grey hair is much more visible! So I was forced to dye the roots every 4 weeks. Anyway, I'm back to blonde, haha! :-)
And when it comes to the outfit of the day: I'm wearing my most favorite high waisted skinny jeans from topshop combined with a cute and lightweight cropped sweater. I can't wait for the spring to arrive and to take out all those pretty pastel colors! And in less than 2,5 months the boy and I are going to Laos and Cambodia, really looking forward to that!

Vandaag een simpele outfit post. Het is misschien een vrij voor de hand liggende combinatie, maar ik ben gek op zwart en wit! Ik heb dit shortje al lang niet meer aangehad, de laatste keer was tijdens een weekend weg in Brugge.
Op dit moment heb ik 4 dagen achter elkaar vrij, waarvan 1 dag een cadeautje is. Ik ben namelijk niet opgeroepen tijdens een dag reserve en heb ik daarom 4 hele dagen om zelf in te delen: heerlijk! Vrijdag ga ik pas weer vliegen, slechts 1 vlucht rechtstreeks naar Bristol en daar kom ik dan vervolgens rond 11 uur 's morgens aan: luxe! Ik weet al wat ik ga doen, haha! Wat zijn jullie plannen voor de aankomende week?

Today just a simple outfit post. It might be a normal combination, but I just love black and white. It has been a while since I wore the black and white shorts, I think the last time was during a weekend get to getter in Bruges.
At this moment I have 4 days off, of which one was a gift. I was on reserve duty for a couple of hours and they didn't call me, so now I have 4 days which I can spend the way I like! Love it! I have untill friday, then I'm leaving for Bristol, just one flight and arriving there pretty early (11 o'clock in the morning, yay!). Pretty luxurious week for me, and I already know what I'm going to do in Bristol, haha! What are your plans for the upcoming week?

Hoewel ik niet heel vaak sieraden draag (lastig met werk en daarnaast vergeet ik het ook vaak) moet ik zeggen dat ik weer eens echt verliefd ben geworden op een armband. Deze supermooie bruin leren armband is van Noosa Amsterdam en helemaal handgemaakt met speciale chunks die je er zelf op kan zetten. Omdat hij van leer is draagt hij echt heel erg fijn. Heel zacht!
Mijn armband is uit de Lumus serie, welke is geïnspireerd op de speling van het licht. De armband heb ik gekregen voor valentijn en daarom heb ik ook de supermooie 'Cupido & Psyche' chunks erop gezet. Dat is het leuke aan Noosa, je kan de chunks wisselen en daarmee dus je armband personaliseren. Alles is handgemaakt en ik heb nog veel meer mooie chunks gezien voor de zomer. I don't wear jewelry or bracelets very often (it's difficult because of my work and I forget to wear accesories as well) but I must confess that I absolutely fell in love with a bracelet. This beautiful brown leather bracelet is from Noosa Amsterdam and has really cool chunks you can add to it. Because it's a leather bracelet it's really comfortable to wear! Super soft!
My bracelet is one from the Lumus line, which is inspired by the light. I recieved the bracelet for Valentine and therefor I'm wearing the beautiful 'Cupido & Psyche' chunks. That's the fun part about Noosa, you can change the chunks and personalise your bracelet. Everything is handmade and I already spotted more beautiful chunks for the upcomming summer!
