INTERIEUR: Shoplog

One of my other passions is home decoration and interior. Since I still live at home I can't express myself that much. But there are serious plans when it comes to living on my own. I'm already looking around for furniture, but for now I can only buy the decoration. And when it comes to decoration, my favorite place is Loods 5. For the dutchies amoung us: you really should go to loods 5 one day! It's such a fantastic shop! Everything you see above (decoration) is from loods 5.

Een van mijn passies is interieur en decoratie. Aangezien ik nog steeds thuis woon kan ik mijzelf daar nog niet heel erg in uitleven. Maar er zijn dus serieuze plannen om op mezelf te gaan wonen en daarom ben ik al aan het rondkijken naar meubelen. Voor nu houd ik het alleen bij decoratie. Alles wat je hierboven ziet aan decoratie is van loods 5. Ik zou jullie zeker aanraden om eens een bezoekje te brengen aan loods 5, het is echt een geweldige winkel!

And just like the ocean under the moon

I'm listening to Santana while packing my suitcase for my upcoming standby shift. Which means that I need to be 'available' for my work for 5 days from 5AM till 5PM. And it also means that I need to stay at home during queensday tomorrow (BIG thing in the Netherlands). That sucks bigtime! Anyway, this was my outfit for today. Today I had to visit an appartment in Harlem to rent with friends. It looks really nice, hopefully it works out for us!

Went to Amsterdam with one of my best friends. I borrowed his glasses, don't I look smart?


And in Amsterdam, we found such a lovely place near the nine streets (negen straatjes) named 'stout'. We had a glass of wine on a rooftop in the sun.


And also went with a friend to a barbeque in the westerpark in Amsterdam. We laughed, drank lots of wine and ate delicious food. And I made myself a necklace/hairband.

Me and my 'date' ended our day with a great pizza and salad at Republiek in Bloemendaal. It was such a great day! And this was our view during sunset.


The weather has been extremely good all week. With temperatures far above 20 degrees it felt like summer! Gosh I missed my flipflops!


Also went to another beach (wijk aan zee) with my friend during one of my days off.


I got myself a lovely sandwich with mozarella and pesto.


I really can use some tan, but working on it ;)


And at the end of a lovely day at the beach I wore my favorite harempants.


Yesterday I was in Luxembourg because of my work. We had a lot of time there and went to a sushi bar. They had an 'all you can eat' concept and we spend two hours over there! This is me with one of my collegues.


Luxembourg is so pretty!


We also went shopping and in a great home decoration store I found the table and couch of my dreams. Unfortunately they couldn't fit into our aircraft ;)


And last night I got myself a lasagna. You need to do something when you're hungry. And luckily the hotel provides a great roomservice.


And this was around 5.30 AM at the airport in Luxembourg. I love the view of our aircraft and the sunrise. It was great!


And back at Schiphol, Amsterdam. Which is my homebase ;)

'Birthday' outfit

Happy birthday to me, cause I'm turning 22 today. Despite of the great weather and the easter holiday thingie we're having today in the Netherlands, I'm not celebrating my birthday. Because I never celebrate my birthday, it's just not my thing I guess. Anyway, just want to show you my very simple but comfortable outfit. I just came back from a way too early flight this morning and am quite tired. So I think I'm just going to relax in the sun and try to tan a little bit. What about you? Happy easter kids!
