Vintage shopping

As I mentioned a couple of days ago, I bought two very bright blazers! Found them last week in a thriftstore nearby and fell in love immediately. They were 5 euros each and eventhough there are a little bit too big, I bought them. Don't you love them? They're both in really good condition and I hope to show you some outfitpictures soon! But first I'm off to bed. I've had a week with only early shifts en woke up every morning at 4 AM. Which is way too early if you ask me. But that's part of my job as well :)

Zoals ik een paar dagen geleden al had gezegd heb ik twee hele mooie blazers gekocht. Ik heb ze gevonden in de kringloop hier in de buurt en was direct verliefd. Ze waren slechts 5 euro per stuk en ondanks dat ze een klein beetje te groot zijn heb ik ze direct gekocht. Vinden jullie ze niet mooi? Ze zijn allebei nog in supergoede condidie en ik hoop dat ik jullie snel wat outfitfoto's kan laten zien. Maar allereerst ga ik zo naar bed. Ik heb een week gehad met alleen maar vroege diensten en stond iedere dag om 4 uur naast mijn bed. Wat veel te vroeg is als je het mij vraagt, maar het is part of the job ;)

H&M spring

Every country I visit has H&M, which triggers me automatically to visit it. The result of my addicting to H&M is a completely full closet, and by that I mean REALLY full. I love all their labels and the soft colors they have right now in the spring collection. Almost everything is new except for the ballerina flats, which are from last year (s/s 10).

Elk land dat ik bezoek heeft H&M, waardoor ik het altijd wil bezoeken. Het resultaat van mijn H&M verslaving is een compleet volle kast, en daarmee bedoel ik dan ook ECHT vol! Ik houd van alle labels en de zachte kleuren die ze nu hebben in de spring collectie. Bijna alles van deze outfit is nieuw behalve de flatjes, die zijn van vorig voorjaar.

FLYING: Dusseldorf and Liverpool

I had a three-day trip for work to Dusseldorf and Liverpool. And lucky us, the weather couldn't have been better! We arrived around noon in Dusseldorf and spend the whole afternoon in the sun at the rijn (german/dutch river). We tanned, drank fresh white beer with lemon, ate some pretty good food and completely relaxed. We had dinner at Vapiano's in Dusseldorf. Which was pretty good! So whenever you are there, I would defenitely advise you to go there. Vapiano is a pretty good restaurant with an amazing concept. It's cheap and the food is delicious!

The next day we arrived early in Liverpool. And yet again the weather was amazing! We all went out shopping and I took some pretty pictures! Gosh, Liverpool is great! And pretty! Our crewhotel is at the opposite of the arena where they film xfactor (or at least that is what they've told me... it's a good hotel anyways). In the evening we went to a great thai restaurant and had an amazing dinner!

And now I spend the afternoon and evening in holland. Tomorrow morning I'm flying really early to Hamburg and have the whole afternoon there. So see you later!

Voor mijn 3 daagse werktrip ben ik naar Dusseldorf en Liverpool geweest. En we hadden geluk, want het was prachtig weer! We arriveerden vroeg in het middaguur in Dusseldorf en hebben de hele middag in de zon op het terras gezeten. We hebben genoten van heerlijk witbier, duits eten en we hebben lekker aan onze kleur gewerkt. Voor het diner hebben we gegeten bij vapiano's, een italiaanse keten die heerlijk eten maakt tegen een zeer goede prijs! Mocht je in de buurt zijn, ga zeker een keer langs!

De volgende dag arriveerden we opnieuw zeer vroeg in Liverpool. En opnieuw heerlijk weer! We zijn wezen shoppen en ik heb de kans gezien wat prachtige plaatjes te maken. Liverpool is super! Het hotel ligt tegenover een arena waar xfactor wordt opgenomen (of althans, dat is wat mij werd verteld... maar het is een goed hotel!) En 's avonds hebben we heerlijk bij een goede thai gegeten.

Voor nu ben ik even in Nederland maar morgenochtend vlieg ik naar Hamburg en heb ik weer de hele dag daar!

Grey is the new black

While everyone is completely into the pop of color theme, I felt more like wearing grey today. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love a 'pop' of color. In fact, I bought two blazers today, a red and a yellow one. Will show you those tomorrow. But for now, just my very grey outfit. I hope you like it :)

Terwijl iedereen helemaal in het 'pop of color' thema is, voelde ik vandaag er meer voor om een grijze outfit te dragen. Begrijp me niet verkeerd, ik houd wel van wat kleur. Ik heb vandaag ook twee blazers gekocht, een rode en een gele. Die laat ik morgen zien. Maar vooralsnog mijn grijze outfit. Hopelijk vinden jullie hem leuk :)

FLYING: Bologna

29 degrees!






How great is it to be able to wear flipflops in april?

















Just came back from my 5 day trip around europe (for work, ofcourse). I spend the nights in Newcastle, Bologna, Zurich and last but nog least in Bordeaux. 4 Different european countries in 5 days. It was amazing in Bologna. It was my first time in Italy and luckily we've got a lot of time there. So we went out and the next day we walked around in the city of Bologna. The weather was amazing: 29 degrees! Can you believe that? I was able to wear my flipflops! We ate italian icecream and spend the afternoon in the sun. Hope you like the pictures!

Ik ben gisteren teruggekomen van mijn 5 daagse europa trip. Voor het werk natuurlijk. Ik heb in Newcastle, Bologne, Zurich en in Bordeaux geslapen. 4 Verschillende europese steden in 5 dagen. Het was echt super in Bologna, we hadden veel tijd daar en dus zijn we 's avonds uitgeweest. De volgende dag hebben we heerlijk in de zon gezeten. Het was 29 graden en ik kon gewoon mijn slippers dragen, hoe chill is dat? We hebben italiaans ijs gegeten en de rest van de dag in het zonnetje doorgebracht. Hopelijk vinden jullie te foto's leuk :)
