Outfit: Faux fur and burgundy

Slot Zeist, a beautiful place near Utrecht is the perfect location for photoshoots. I've been there before, a year ago during springtime. You can see that post and the field in full bloom in this post. It was a bit chilly but eventhough the temperature was perfect to wear my faux fur H&M coat (find a similar one here) which I absolutely adore. It's not really thick, so you can't wear it when it's freezing outside. Today turned out to be just perfect. I paired it with my cutout boots and my burgundy hat. Hope you enjoy :)

Blouse sequin collar - Only

TRAVEL: Rome

We woke up really early for a day of fun in Rome. After a delicious breakfast in bed it was time to explore this amazing city. Our first stop was the colosseum, but unfortunately the queue to go inside was so, so long that we decided to skip it and go straight to Forum Romanum and Circus Maximus where we wandered around until lunchtime. It is amazing to walk between these extremely old ruïns, it was a dream coming true! After a not so very delicious pizza we went to the Pantheon, which was located in the citycenter. The Pantheon truly is an amazing building, with a huge hole in the ceiling. It wasn't really crowded thankfully, so we could go inside to check it out. We decided to go back to the Colosseum one more time to see if the queue already dissapeared; and thankfully it did! We bought ourselves Roma Passes on our day of arrival which gives us free entrance to two major museums and also free use of the public transport in the citycenter. The Roma Pass came in quite handy since we could skip the line which was still very long to buy a ticket. Anyway, the Colosseum was really beautiful and HUGE! It's quite amazing if you think about the things that happend there so many years ago. I hope you enjoy the photos! :)

Outfit: A bohemian playsuit in wintertime

Did you notice my most recent obsession with hats? I must admit that I have a huge collection of different fedora hats, all in pretty colors. They really spice up an outfit instantly. I decided to try out a little bohemian kind of outfit for the day, with this beautiful playsuit from Zara. The burgundy color is the thing I love the most. I'm a sucker for playsuits anyway, I own so man! They are super comfy and you don't have to worry about the wind, haha! During wintertime they are perfect to combine with tights and sweaters, cardigans or blazers. To make the outfit a bit more relaxed and less girly, I decided to wear my bikerboots which I have for years. Hope you enjoy this outfit :)

Playsuit - Zara (cute and affordable version here)
Hat - Pimkie

TRAVEL: Rome

For those of you who have been following me on instagram @flyingfashionblogger might have already noticed that I went on a little citytrip last week. As a flight attendant I'm not only able to visit the most amazing places in Europe, I can fly as a passenger for a reduced price too. So when the boy and I had six(!) days off together (working parttime is paying of!), we decided we wanted to go on a citytrip together. It has been a while, our last citytrip was to Bruges almost two years ago. In the mean time we did go on holiday, but not on citytrips. So after a whole lot of research we decided to go to Rome, which was the best decision!

I'm wearing
Coat - Zara
Dress - Vila
Cardigan - H&M
Necklace - Zeeman
Sneakers - H&M

Outfit: Dungarees

While dressing up is something I absolutely adore to do, dressing down is a thing I manage too. Nothing beats a day of relaxing and walking in the forest, breathing in fresh air. High heels and pretty dresses are not really handy when you're out in the cold and walking through the mud. I found this adorable distressed dungarees during the Zara winter sale. They are super comfortable and stylish too. I don't think I'm too late when it comes to the dungaree trend and if I am, I don't care. I can't wait to style them with cute heels too, so you can imagine I can't wait for spring. Hope you enjoy the photos we took near Zeist.

Outfit: Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference

Hello everyone! Hope you are all doing fine! I absolutely enjoy flying parttime and it gives me amazing opportunities. Last week I had six whole days off together with the boyfriend so we went to Rome! Will show you photos soon! For this outfit; I found this cute little hat at H&M in Aalborg, Denmark. I fell in love with it and just had to buy it, eventhough the pricetag told me it was about 15 euros. When I went to the cashier and it turned out to be just 3 euros! I was like; seriously? So I was so, so happy! I hope you like my outfit. During wintertime, I think it's quite difficult to show you some proper outfit photos. It's just sometimes too cold to take off my coat. Thankfully, I was able to do it today, so I hope you like it! See you later :)

Outfit: Cycling to Amelisweerd

Say hello to the happy face! Nothing makes me more happy than to cycle out of the city directly into the nature. Amelisweerd, somewhere in between Utrecht and Bunnik, is a beautiful place to visit. It's like a gigantic parc, with little teahouses to relax and farms you can visit. I have wrote about Amelisweer quite a few times, you can check it out in the summertime in this post but it's also very pretty during the autumn, which you can see over here. However one of my favorite times is during summer, when their flower garden is blooming and you can pick your own flowers. Find my summer post here. While we cycled around we ran into tho cute donkeys. They were just grazing but as soon as they saw us, they came to say hi. Hope you enjoy my photos!

Outfit: I want to be parisian

I can't stop reading my ultimate favorite book 'Parisian chic' and therefor I decided to make an outfit inspired by the parisian style. I love flowy skirts and oversized sweaters and decided to combine it all in one. While my isabel marant boots would have made the outfit even more parisian, I decided to go for these beauties from Zara. I wore a similar outfit a long time ago when I was in Bordeaux, and gosh do I miss my long hair! I chopped it into a bob just before newyears eve' but I must admit I miss my long hair a little bit as well, eventhough this is supereasy to style. Anyway, I hope you like the photos!

Inspiration and giveaway: Beadies

I'm sorry for my english readers, this giveaway is for my dutch readers only! However, when you're in Amsterdam or Utrecht, don't forget to visit the beads and jewellery store Beadies. It's jewellery heaven, also for the DIY queens amoung us. Eventhough this will be a dutch post, I hope you enjoy the photos of the beautiful store.

Outfit: Lola Nomada

Meet my new love: my precious bag from Lola Nomada. It's handmade and breathtakingly beautiful. Since I embrace the bohemian style, this bag is perfect for everyday wear. I also can't wait to take it with me to Bali, where we'll be going to in May. Lola Nomada does not only sell beautiful bags, they have a wide variety of clothing and accessories too, all in a bohemian vibe. Don't forget to follow them on instagram @lolanomada too, if you like the bohemian lifestyle.

These photos were taking in Utrecht, near the Dom Tower. It was the first day with snow and it was absolutely beautiful. I also dyed my hair a little bit, I wanted to have it in some sort of ombre tint. So I went to the hairdresser and this is how it's turned out. I really like it, but I can't wait for my hair to grow longer. Eventhough I like the bob, it's difficult to pin up with my work as a flight attendant.

Parka coat - H&M
Jeans - H&M

TRAVEL: Thailand, Koh Lanta

So here it is, the final part of our Thailand trip we made in november 2014. You can see all my previous Thailand posts here. We stayed a total of four days in the Escape Cabins, which was a good hotel for a good price. On one of our lasts days we decided to join a snorkling tour on a longtail boat, which would go to four different islands al located in the south of Lanta. We didn't went to see PhiPhi, reason for this was the negative stories we heard from fellow travelers mainly about the island being overcrowded. Too many tourists and longtail boats and an uncomfortable boatride with a speedboat. Anyway, the little island tour turned out to be very nice eventhough I got seasick (again!). Hope you enjoy the photos!
